I think we should go a second time with more extension on the voting and more advertising (from Moderators) to promote the fact that there is voting. Just to be clear, I'm not saying the candidates advertise themselves, just that they reach the forum and let people know that it's actually possible to vote. Seattleite becomes the new CC mod. 2: We redo the election, in exactly the same way. 3: We redo the election, but we use Alternative Vote instead of First Past the Post. Also more time to vote instead of one and a half days. 4: Mods decide who becomes the next CC mod 5: Seattleite and Neo duel, with the winner becoming the new CC mod 6: Seattleite and Neo both become new CC mods. 7: Raine becomes new CC mod. 8: No new mods for anyone. 9: Some other thing. Skimming over the last part of the mod application sheets for everyone who posted them in the thread (not bothering to fully read them because I don't care who wins. At all.), most of, if not everything that these candidates promised to do are things they can do while remaining normal members. They didn't say that they are going to make new sections or ban Herman even though he's already banned. All modship will really offer are sticks for them to whack people with. This is a popularity contest focused on what the person will do to CC, not how many baddies will said person will bag. If the moderatorsaurus team needs more people with sticks, then the candidates need to show that we can expect them to bag more of the baddies than the rest and none of the goodies, which would mean option 4 (or 3, or 2, but probably 4). But of course, you can ignore this because again, I really don't care who becomes a moderatorsaurus. The applicants, I'm sure, are all willing to do a good thing for the community, even the troll applicants aren't going to be exactly too negative.
