Your opponent can't kill it with Black Corn or Papilloperative so it's good as a desperation wall, and if your opponent's Life Points are low enough they won't be able to bang through the 2 Materials to kill it. It's particularly good against Lightsworns since they'll usually deck themselves out getting over it and you can just chain its effect to Shock Master. Well, Block Golem From REDU Is LV3 And Can Get More Back From The Graveyard That Were Sent There With Cards Like Catapult Zone Or Dust Knight.
