An age old battle...that will never be resolved.

Let me start off with saying that if belongs in the Polls thread, please move it there. Wasn't sure where it belonged seeing as I want some in depth answers here.

---

Alright we all have our opinions on super heroes. Iron Man vs. Batman, Superman vs. Spider-Man, Avengers vs. Justice League...but what it all boils down to is DC vs. Marvel. What I want to know is what you guys think and most importantly why. Personally I am DC fanatic all the way, and that isn't going to change, but I would like to get a view on both sides of the spectrum. So without further ado...

I remember back when I made this poll.

Marvel all the way for me. DC's cool and all, but Batman, Superman, and maybe Flash are their biggest icons while Marvel's got Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men, and the Avengers. Although, other DC people should be getting more recognition once the Justice League movie comes out.
And I will give DC something, they have way better TV shows than most of the stuff Marvel's produced.

But overall, I just like the Marvel heroes a lot more.

I've been leaning more towards DC. They make better cartoons, aside from a couple bumps in the road.

Also, DC's big events aren't "[Superhero team X] vs. [Superhero team Y]."

You didn't like Teen Titans? *questions whether you are human*

I understand what you mean with the big events thing. Marvel seems to do that.

I think that may be confusing quantity over quality. And what about Nightwing, for DC? He's been getting increasingly popular since the show Young Justice began incorporating his involvement. I know there are mass ravings for a movie for him. I will give Marvel that the X-Men are freaking awesome. But I am counting those as one entity, instead of individually.

Honestly, I find DC boring. Except Batman. Because Batman.

They're just your standard tight-wearing superheroes for the most part. I find Marvel heroes more interesting, and they go into the secret identities as well, which is nice. (From what I've seen, DC focuses mostly on the heroes and not who's under the mask, mostly.)

So MAHVEL BAYBEE!!

Batman is the exception to everything. Because he's Batman.

DC have a lot of my favorite characters, including Green Lantern, Scarecrow, Hawkman and Green Arrow, but comic wise, Marvel have better stories and events (the only really good ones I can think of from DC are the Sinestro Wars and Blackest Night). DC wins hands-down when it comes to TV shows, but I like the Marvel movies better (because Avengers)

But if I really had to select one of them to be my absolute favorite, it would be DC. Why? Because Music Meister.

See I don't see why people like Avengers so much. Granted I've never really just sat down and watched. I saw it on DVD with some friends and my full attention wasn't on the movie, but I honestly didn't like it very much. I'll have to give it another watch before making my final judgment on the movie.

I liked Avengers because it would've been a good movie on it's own, but then they just HAD to tease an entire franchise with that ending. It then, in my eyes, became a fantastic start of something even better.

I think that Marvel takes the cake. Marvel has Iron Man and Thor, Hulk and Spider-Man, and DC has... Aquaman.

And Batman, and Nightwing, and Green Arrow, and Red Arrow, and Green Lantern, and Joker.

I will give you "But Aquaman SUCKS!" *please read in Indian accent*-Raj, The Big Ban Theory

I forgot about Aquaman.

One more plus for DC. Aquaman is awesome.

Thank you so much dude, that made my day. :)
OT: I'm ambivalent. I like both, and I see no reason to pick sides.

Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, more Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, DC is okay, but Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel all the way, and now one more time. M-A-R-V-E-L... MARVEL!

And I thought I liked you. Guess you can't judge a book by its cover...
