This is an old school casual jewel.
It's problem is having to compare to the obviously better options of the moment.
Back then Raigeki, Fissure, Dark Hole, Trap Hole, Mirror Force, Sakuretsu, etc.
.... wow.... pretty much all monster removal effects either outclass it or tie with it, now that I think about it. Except Two-Pronged Attack.
Well, the current game pace wouldn't give this card a chance anyways....

If it didn't miss the timing, it'd be decent, IMO.... or at least would have been.

This thing is bad whether or not it misses the timing. It's slow and weak. It wouldn't be worth the deck space at all.

I don't mean "decent" as in, compared to must-have staples. I mean it more as a lower tier tech. It'd work with Tributing and Synchro Summoning at least. Even though Soul Taker would still outclass it, it'd still sort of would get the job done.

It's a situational 1 for 1 that requires one of your monsters to die to activate, while many card-removal effects are blatant pluses and are even more versatile, plus miss timing. I got that.

but awful to me is like Two-Pronged Attack and Brisote the Tailwind. One of which would only be viable if constant swarmings of monsters that benefited from effect destruction were possible, making it a win moar card, except not really because that's absurdly situational. The other card which needs a situational condition for a useless effect, that to top if off is outclassed by Dian Ketto, plus bad stats. Michizure at least kills something without that much preparation. Also, weren't people hyping about that Nordic Relic Levatein card back when it came out? That's actually more situational.
