Mermail Abysslinde

I find it amusing how, despite the once-per-turn clause, its effect gives you a rather [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mermail_Abyssmegalo]large advantage[/url].
And considering 2x Torrential and the fact Dark Hole could be dropped on it, it's effect is rather trollish as far as Mermails go(at least the way [i]I[/i] see it).
And part of me going to miss that old Mermail-Mash.dek I had...

The best way to use it is with end phase abyssphere. Ah, the shenanigans you can do with that, like summoning spike and discarding infantry to pop your opponent's big boss monster or summoning megalo for a quick and easy rank 7 OR an OTK with diva.

That being said, this isn't the *main* problem card of the deck. The 3 cards that need to be hit badly are undine, abyssphere, and dragoons.

1. Undine is a technical +2 because he doesn't necessarily die.
2. Since when are tuners useless? Gungnir is a card you know.
3. Dragoons wouldn't be half as bad if undine didn't exist. Undine is much more of a problem card than dragoons.

1. No, he's a +1. Dammit man, learn card advantage.

Hand to field = +0
Deck/Grave/Banish to hand = +1 or more
From Extra = +1, before factoring in what was given up, and is always a natural -1-4, until you factor in effects.
Destroying a card opp controls/in their hand = +1
Stealing a card they have = +2 (-1 them, +1 you)
Losign a card from your hand/field = -1
Deck to grave, Grave to Banish, banish to deck, and vice versa = +0
Etc.

3. No, Dragoons is definitely far worse than Undine.

The point is, there's better stuff to waste your Normal Summon on besides a potential Gungnir that can just get itself Solemn'd anyway.

Abyssphere doesn't summon the tuner.
And you just wasted your Normal Summon to add that Tuner to your hand.
So it's a slow synchro play when you're really only using Undine to trigger those guys from your deck that have freaking amazing effects.
