All that Monster Reborn does is bring back a monster from the graveyard
There's honestly nothing majorly bad about it
[/quote]
Scenario #1 where reborn is unfair:
1. Summon Hyperion.
2. Opponent Warnings Hyperion
3. Lol, reborn
4. Win, unfairly

#2:
1. Your big boss monster is in the graveyard, but you have a solid advantage
2. Lol, reborn
3. You lose

Reborn is only as good as what it can target, but its targets are pretty damn good. And no, they're not the problem, reborn is.

Just gonna ask this one question:

How can Reborn ever be the problem if its targets are what make it a problem, by that logic?

People act like EVERY time someone draws Monster Reborn it leads to f***ing game winning. It doesn't. Reborn does NOT lead to winning the duel as often as people say it does. If someone wins from drawing Reborn, they either had the advantage the entire time, the opponent made a stupid move, or they are smart enough to use it well.

Do idiots sometime win from drawing Reborn? Of course, but it's no different then winning with Lightsworns, in fact winning with Reborn tends to happen LESS then winning with Lightsworns.

Reborn doesn't always have to be like that
And plus how can you blame Reborn on that
All it did was bring the card back from the graveyard

Then justify it, properly.

You've said so yourself, YGO is a game of powerful bosses. It's not their fault for being good, that's just power creep. It's reborn's fault for bringing them back.

Ban Reborn and print this:

I can agree that Water of Life is better to use than Monster Reborn

I'm thinking that the problem is that it abuses the Graveyard mechanic and its inability to be avoided without deck dedication. Lategame, Reborn can and usually will lead to a single-handed win. This is balanced out by the fact that anyone can run it, but then it degrades into pure luck... which is what YGO! is all about, I suppose.
