~British Soul~
The one thing that comes to my mind about this card is that its effect is similar to the guarding mechanic in Vanguard.

evilfusion
The only reason this card no longer holds my unending rage at the 5Ds writers (Team Unicorn Duel) is that Yusei used it again in a clever maneuver against Team Ragnarok. Other than that, the horrendously poor way it was used to avoid a definite loss scarred my feelings about this subpar card.

evilfusion
The entire ending of that duel was stupid. Haven't seen such bullsh*t since Yugi/Kaiba VS Dartz.
Those are totally different classes of BS, though. Yugi/Kaiba vs Dartz: BS where the rules of the game, even by anime standards, are completely disregarded to do some insane play that by only the most absurd stretch of the imagination could ever be produced. And this is the show that brought you Catapult Turtle vs Castle of Dark Illusions. Team Unicorn: BS where the characters make some stupid decision that they never should or would have made, ESPECIALLY if the plot could move forward just as easily (or hell, be improved by) making the intelligent decision. With Team Unicorn, there was no reason for Team 5Ds to win. It was double elimination. It would have been great for Yusei and pals to lose that, realize there was more to Team Dueling than having a 3 on 3 match (Yusei acknowledged against Jean that he never realized how deep team strategy was before their duel), and strive to improve from there. They also would have made decent rivals with Unicorn, based on the fact they held up to their rep as some of the strongest team duelists around. It would have given character development. Team Unicorn was also awesome in the fact they were NOT evil shmucks! Their tactics were legit, they were friends with each other, they had more or less the same characteristics most Yugioh protagonists are supposed to have, they weren't unnecessarily antagonistic to their opponents, but they were straightforward. They even had some backstory. They were fascinating characters in their own right. And then the justification why Jean made the move was flimsy and blatantly stupid, and the character development (for Jean) it was supposed to have given? Worthless because Team Catastrophe blows them to hell by cheating with evil cards and crashing their bikes. Wow. Way to screw up the plot and potential for no reason and make it increasingly blatant that Yusei is Yugioh god in his ability to never lose.
