Almost all of them said that it had to stay on the field for the 20 turns and started calling BS when the judge said they were wrong. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 I have played Exodia and Final Countdown because I don't like the meta and just wanted to see how consistent I could make the deck for the sake of theory. Exodia is a lot less boring, and it's much easier to make it "consistent". Considering 1 missed turn in Countdown is death, and you have to hold on for 20+ turns as opposed to the 2-10 for Exodia. There is no way anyone would use it if it had to stay on the field for the 20 turns. I have a few decks made for fun (Ojama, BES, Batteryman, Inzektor, Hero Rabbit) and two competitive ones (Hero Beat, Countdown.) In tourneys, you play to win, and I prefer using Hero Beat, but sometimes, if I want to troll or just feel like getting whatever the prize is, I'll use countdown since its almost always a win unless I get really bad hands. They use this, fill the rest of the deck with stall/stun/lock/mezz/zip/nork/whatever, and don't have any offensive stuff.
