Something concerning this came up on the local news, so I decided to look it up. After reading about it, I thought it sounded like a lot of butt hurt. So, what do you think YCM?

It IS a lot of butthurt! "My sub is 1/4 of an inch shorter than a foot! I'm suing!" Typical American attitude that pisses me off.

Yea, I mean how are you supposed to make the bread exactly a foot when you bake it? That and how do you cut the bread so it is exactly half a foot? It's time consuming and it shouldn't be expected from people.

Other than faking the nutrition facts for their bread, why would Subway deliberately make bread an inch shorter?

If people are going to complain about the size of their subs, what's stopping them about complaining about the size of their hamburgers? I mean, hamburgers have just about the same uncertainty.

Seriously, though. This is ridiculous. Not only would a lawsuit like this not be worth the time of EITHER party, but like it matters anyway. It is rather difficult to regulate the exact size of every loaf of bread cooked due to natural variations. Plus, who cares about the size of the bread anyway? It's the stuffing that matters. I'd be happy saving a few extra calories on that inch of bread lost.
