I once went into Subway and asked for a 5-and-a-half inch sub, because "I'm not hungry enough to finish 6 inches". They didn't give it me, but looking back I guess they gave me it anyway.

No different really from for example Pubs not giving you full pints, but they get vetted to make sure they do and face action if they're giving less than they should.

 

Never eat at subway anyhow even though my town centre has 3 within a mile.

OK.   So how will this suit be settled?    How will ordinary people benefit from this?

Just like a typical settlement, millions of people will get zero money, but a coupon of some kind.     Or they'll donate money to charity.

To be honest, there has to be at least $20 at stake for a lawsuit to even go through. So, I imagine there is a lot more money at stake. Perhaps enough to complete the missing inches off of 20 subs?

I mean.....shit, if I'm paying $5-$6.25 for something that's marketed as a foot long, then I want my moneys worth.  I think some people here are missing the point that it's not because these niggas weren't full that they took lawsuit, it's the fact the company advertised 12 inch subs and didn't deliver on literally EVERY occasion.

 

Like, I don't even like Subway anyways, their shit is subpar for most sandwich shops and Jared is a pussy.

 

Also, what in the FUCK does this have to do with America?  Niggas on the first page be all like "Fuckin' fat Americans." or "Only Americans would do this."  This has to do with an individuals problem with the way his sandwich was made.  Sure, that makes him a little bitch, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with him being American.
