Dark Armed Dragon

It's a running joke by LZ, I think, in that the bad people always post in a Solemn Judgment topic saying that it's not broken because of such a steep cost.

No. They say it's BAD because it has such a steep cost.

In other words, it's nothing like DAD and you're comparison using bad players makes no sense.

OT: If we kill this, then Inzektors don't win any more.

This is just a win moar card for Zektors (and for anything else that uses it, honestly). They have great Graveyard control, so they can use it more consistently than other decks, but that doesn't make it any easier to draw into it.

In my opinion, it's ok at one. I aknowledge it's kinda broken, but we have worse stuff going around. This is one of those cards like BLS and Hyperion that makes a lot of players mad because it comes from freaking nowhere.

But they won't win the "hey, I just topped this, GG" games, which, from what I'm told, was the only reason that one dude won a YCS with them.

To be fair~
While this card is still pretty ridiculous(for many reasons), its not as herpderp as Black Luster, in the sense that- HURRR I RUN 1 VEILER AND 1 SANGAN, MAINDECK LUSTER LOLOLOLOL
This actually requires you to monitor your Grave(a bit?), and not render this card dead because you accidentally had a 4th DARK in there and have no real way to fix that at the moment.

...Yea, I cant really sugar coat it.

Ignoring what may or may not be sarcasm, etc., Solemn Judgment isn't broken in the slightest.

Anyway, this card is bananas but it's really not that bad @ 1 and more often than not I find myself not wanting to waste Deck space running it.  It's broken both in design and in practice but it's so reliant on Graveyard set-up that 95% of the time there are better options.  If it were at 3, it would be another story completely.

My beef with this card is that there's not cost to drop it.. you just throw it on the field. At least BLS requires a banishment. Either way, both are OP and should be @0 but I mean seriously, there are way worse cards out there that need to be hit before this thing. Sad ain't it?

DAD requires SOME grave control or else its dead if you dont draw it in the first few turns. BLS can be live starting from turn 1 with a minimal amount of effort and wont stop being live barring some necrovalley/imperial iron wall play

I already went over this.
DAD cant just be dropped at damn near any time, like Herpderp Luster can.
DAD actually requires you to monitor your Graveyard, and drop it at the exact time.
Plus, after you fully use DAD(I mean full use, 3 destructions and everything), and the Opponent somehow gets rid of him, then you recover him again, you have to get another 3 DARKs in the Grave. Plus, unlike Luster, you cant use Reborn on him.
Also hes not as splashable as Luster.

Yes, the card is ridiculous. We all know this.
But its not as idiotically designed as Luster.
Now if Witch actually comes off the list, as rumored, DAD might become problematic then.

I know, its silly trying to make sense of a busted card, but it actually requires a bit of effort to pull off.

Doomsday Beat~So easy to get to 3 DARKS for this when you draw it :3

I remember lucksacking this into gg against my friend so many times...I felt bad.

So yeah, card is good, but is too annoying and powerful for its own good. And I have no idea why BLS is still limited, so...yeah.

definitely not CED but BLS.

DAD destroys 3 cards minimum once successfully summoned and could clear all attack-condition backrow (mirror force, etc)

let's say they both get destroyed during your opponent's next turn i'm pretty sure DAD made a more destructive effect than if BLS was in its place.
