I remember running somewhat of a Chaos Ritual Deck in WC 2010. Did it suck? Kinda, but it was interesting.

Wonder why they decided to let these cards work when flip summoned, but not special summoned or flipped face-up. Anyways, adds immense consistency to ritual decks.

They don't work when Special Summoned to restrict its use and prevent Trade-In combos. They don't work when flipped by battle because it's supposed to have battle as a drawback.

 

Manju's certainly useful, especially in Heralds, but in Gishki it's unneeded.

Obviously it shines in Herald as it doubles as a Fairy discard.

But Gishki don't need it because they have vision and stuff right?

It was cool in Hierogishki to add even more consistency, but it's unneeded in any other build.

 

Absolutely necessary in all other Ritual decks.
