Since it's almost banlist season, should there be a (possibly temporary) banlist subforum?

An entire subforum seems incredibly excessive.

I don't see how it could possibly be something that wields a substantial amount of activity in the long run. That's where the temporary factor chimes in, however that also seems a bit nonsensical.

Still, I do not believe subforums and things that may benefit the forum as a whole should not be implemented merely due to something so minuscule as activity, because if the members who partake in the activity are content then that satisfies the purpose of the implementation.

At the end of the day, there is no possible downside to the addition of subforums.

Well, I guess, but why not just pin Canadian's thread and have everyone post their thoughts/crappy fantasy idea banlists there?

imo, Just have one thread (apparently Canadian's, since it is made) and have everything go there. Lock any other banlist threads.

Having just one thread for banlists would be a terrible unorganized mess. Could you imagine if we did that for any other topic? Like if we let people post decks in one big topics? Or fanfics?

No. Banlist predictions all suck and if anything reflect personal bias more than anything (or in Agro's case, a show of hatred for the game). An official banlist discussion topic would be as far as I'd go with the idea.

---

Oh, I agree they all suck. That's why I'd prefer them off the main section rather then 100 different topics clogging up the front page, or one big unorganized mess for the people who actually did want to discuss banlists.

What I like about Pojo is they have a subforum for the banlist, which is interesting to read. If Pojo and that other site (Forgot the name) can have it, I don't see why this can't, but I wouldn't care either way, if it gets added or not, since I already have Pojo to read about banlist and broken cards.

The trouble is that pojo has so many members that the forum stays active, whereas here it'd be difficult. Also pojo has too many forums anyway.
