Was originally going to do something different and more original with this image, but decided that this guy (remotely) resembled Utopia, so I made this. But, it's still a cool card and I'd say definitely a staple if made.

It's certaiy not a bad card, and it definitely has its usability niche. It safeguards against MF, lance, and Dprison as well as preventing stuff like sangan/card trooper/zenmaines/maestroke/gachi from going off, which allows the controller to bust through the stall wall and get the game moving again. It's overall a well-designed card that might become a staple depending on the format. If anything, I don't think the self-burn is necessary. I'd also make the effect optional, or else it chains on itself.

Just to make it more anti-Utopia, you COULD increase his ATK by 100...?

 

I kind of like it in a sense that it negates summons similar to how utopia negates attacks.

 

It helps put off all those monsters your opponent throws at you which is a great way to stop it.

 

The '1000' damage drawback is great. At first I thought it was too much, but then I realized that u basically destroyed 2 monsters which is so much for a lvl 4 xyz.

 

 

My fixes:

Make it more Utopia-like, yet not Utopia-like...

For example, as I said, bring it to 2500 OR you can reverse the ATK and DEF of Utopia 2000 ATK and 2500 DEF.

Take out the 'take 1000', even though its good, and add in discard 2 cards....but im scared this would be awesome for fables and dark worlds so idk...

Incorrect. Their effects are continuous and do not activate, though Zenmaines activates in the End Phase.

 

The card itself seems not half bad. It's 2500, it stops Battle Phase floaters, and it has a drawback if it stops those. If it actually blows up via its effect, I don't know how you got it to there, so it seems a bit non-existant.

 

Overall, just seems like a very solid card. My only problem is that it promotes OTKs because they can't D-Prison/Mirror Force/Etc. during your BP, provided you run it. Maybe make it once per turn?
