Jord200
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Number_30:_Acid_Golem_of_Destruction 2 Level 3 LIGHT monsters Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. During your Standby Phase: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card or take 2000damage. While this card has no Xyz Materials, it cannot attack. While you control this face-up card, you cannot Special Summon monsters. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Material:Destroy this card. When this card is destroyed: Take 2000 damage. So.... has this thing always need 2 Level 3 LIGHT monsters in the anime, because I don't remember it saying it needed that. I know Kaito used two Photon Lizards, but still. disc.
~British Soul~
To be honest the only time it was legitly summoned in the anime was with the Photon Lizards, so yeah. Also if it had those requirements IRL, it'd be used less.
Wildflame
It would be even better for Golem Swap.dek because of that last effect.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
Obviously, using this first turn is the best move, as someone on DN did. Sometimes I regret not taking screenshots.
evilfusion
I'm pretty sure that it didnt require LIGHTs in the anime. For one, it's a WATER type, so that wouldnt really make sense. The only non-generic Numbers in the anime were Number 40 and Number 96, both requiring DARKs. And the anime also didnt have Black Ray Lancer WATER specific, but it ended up becoming that way. The first non-generic Number in the OCG/TCG (and still the only one) is Number 8, but it'd be so broken as a generic so that makes sense at least.
