Dreaming Star Witch

This is gonna belong to a sort of set that works together, but not as an archtype. Though, the other cards are really not necessary to judge this card.

Card looks fun. Not only it turns Equip Spells into her personal Reborns (and thus turning those regarded as -1 Equips into +0s that can be actually used), but also with all the different Equip Spells (and Union Monsters too) around, this card has a lot of applications: from copying United We Stand for a beatstick, to creating a wall against attacks with Fighting Spirit (unless I am misunderstanding this card's effect).

 

My only suggestion would be to allow her to keep the Equip Spell effect even while in the graveyard or banished, so copied "Supervises", "Machina Peacekeepers", Zektcalibers and the like will still activate.

Just to make sure: What the effect means is that, for example:

Axe of Despair to revive her, she will gain 1000 ATK as if she had Axe of Despair equipped to her.

Fairy Meteor Crush will give her Pierce.

Trice's Equip will allow her to attack twice (though it'll also decrease her ATK).

 

If Fighting Spirit is used, she'll get the boost, but I don't think the protection will make much of a difference since Fighting Spirit says "destroy this card instead".

Though even with Axe of Despair, she DOES become a 2700 ATK beatstick, and it bypasses archtype-specific Equips, since she'll get the benefits regardless of her name or stats. Plus, she is a Tuner, which I'm not sure if it's overdoing it xD

 

I made her banish the Equip to prevent some shenagigans, but IDK.

 

Overall, what do you think?

Yeah, banishing the Equip Spell is good. With my suggestion I meant that Dreaming Star Witch should keep the effect of the Equip Spell even after she is removed from the field. So, for example, if you banish Supervise (whose second effect activates in the Graveyard) to Summon Witch, and then Witch is sent to the Graveyard, she will be able to Summon a Gemini monster from your Graveyard.

 

On a second thought, I don't think it would work well because then you would be able to stack the effects of multiple Equip Spells in a single Star Witch (since she would keep the effects of Equip Spells even in the Graveyard), and she would eventually turn into a beast in a dedicated Deck (Mist Body + Kay'est + Vylon Segment + ATK Equips)

So, yeah, card is fine. And I don't mind her being a Tuner because as one she can become both Xyz and Synchro Material, giving her more versatility and rewarding those Decks that run Equip Spells.
