As the fifth installemtn in my 100 Single Challenge, I thought I would attempt to give one of my favorite archetypes some more support. Obviously, Crystal Beasts can no longer compete in the metagame, but perhaps with giving them some more Xyz Styled plays that can change. As always, OCG help and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is ALWAYS appreciated. REPS will be given to helpful/good reviews.

As long as this card is treated as a face-up Continuous Spell Card, "Crystal Beast" Continuous Spell Cards, other than this card, can be used as Xyz Material Monsters. If a "Crystal Beast" monster is detached from an Xyz Monster, place it in your Spell and Trap Card Zone as a face-up Continuous Spell Card. If this face-up card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Apparently the wolf is the best animal choice for new crystal beasts, which by the way is also my favorite archetype. personally i have seen so many crystal beast fails its not even funny, and also personally i would have made it an extra deck beast.

however, i feel your card brings something fresh to the table. his effect only work while hes in the spell zone, which is clever, plus it would let you xyz swarm the field if all 5 spaces are full. the fact that he has such low ATK would make me think of him as a level 3 monster, that way the family would have 4 level 3's and 4 level 4's

overall i like the way the card thinks and acts in your favor, which is always welcomed in this deck. the images background is amazing, but the beast i dont think is the best. id say 8/10 pretty cool.

also, theres a link in my signature that leads to my crystal beast card. my image icon is the picture on the card

lol, I actually had that picture saved and was going to make an Xyz Monster for Crystal Beasts tomorrow. So don't worry, a crystal beast Xyz is on the way. Yeah the picture isn't great, but it works. It probably should be a Level 3, will change. Thanks for the comment.

EDIT: Level and Name changed. I changed the name so that I can make the Xyz a wolf.

Does it keep the "use S/T CBs as Xyz Materials" effect while in the S/T Zone itself? If it does, Crystal Beasts are going to be pretty sweet with this.

They can now make Chidori with Pegasus, Revise Dragon, Leviair.

I don't think it'd bump them to tier one or anything, but the card would be an interesting step to take and it WOULD help the deck, which is all it really needs to do. Now I wouldn't mind a Synchro version that happened to be a Tuner, a +ATK one, and probably a Level-altering effect, and I'd be very happy.

Actually that is the only time the effect activates. Yeah, I knew wouldn't bump them to tier one, but it makes them a bit more competitive which was what I was seeking to do. Well I will definitely be making an Xyz one, I might be able to make the tuner...and if I am making the tuner I may as well make the synchro, so keep your eyes open they should be coming within the next few days.

im not so hot about the tuner/synchro crystal but its your choice so as long as it helps the archetype itll be fine.

if you make the xyz a wolf itll be just like mine, cool!

also, i think you could make some support spells too, what do you think?

I'll be thinking about it. Crystal Beasts are fun to make cards for, so probably. lol.

A decent support for one pretty nice archetype !! I can see crystal beasts being used again not only for fun but actually as a competitive archetype. The art and the name fits the crystal beast theme. I only have one question. You are saying that when the crystal beast are detached they are placed in ths spell/trap zone. This effect activates when this card is face-up on the field or in the spell and trap zone ? or maybe both options are acceptable ?

As you have worded it I understand that this eff activates when this card is in your Spell and trap zone but I would like to make it clear :)
