Normal Trap Card

Special Summon as many "Photonmonsters from your Graveyard as possible, up to the number of "Photon" monsters your opponent controls, then take control of all "Photon" monsters your opponent controls, and 1 "Photon" monster you control gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all other "Photon" monsters on the field.

Discuss.

... okay, that almost made my head hurt.

OT: Honestly, outside of a tech to be used in a "Photon" Mirror Match, there's really not much use for this, even if it is a Rekindling....

up to the number of "Photon" monsters your opponent controls,

That line balances it and makes the card completely useless.

Fix'd because strike'd part makes the sentence a bit redundant.

Now all we need is a card that goes like and then this and Dragoon can both be used.

Photon Emergency Double Agent

[Quickplay Spell Card]

Special Summon 1 "Photon" monster from your Deck to your opponent's side of the field.

Yay, shitty -2s that relies on a trap for a combo or is dead!

Allow me to explain.
Kaito went up against a Numbers Hunter who uses a Shogi Deck, and has a Field Spell that swaps the Graveyards of the players. The Hunter blew up Galaxy-Eyes with his Number, then brought it back with a Spell Card, since Galaxy-Eyes was in his Graveyard.
So suddenly Kaito is pulling anti-Photon Photon cards out of his rear.

So the manga writer forgot to justify why Kaito apparently runs cards specifically to counteract his own ace monster (which is implied in the anime at least to be a one-of-a-kind card) in the off-chance that his opponent manages to take control of it? Including by running a Spell Card that requires him to actually destroy Galaxy-Eyes in battle with a specific monster, otherwise it's a dead card?

Does it make any less sense than the things we've seen out the the various Yugioh manga/anime so far? Honestly, now.
