Thomas★Zero Posted March 3, 2013 Report Share Posted March 3, 2013 I know this may seem like an odd card to talk about but since trying this in my deck I've come to fall for its effect where its really help me out in comparison to her brother Heat due to her burn effect. Where it allowed me to get through Final Countdown easily with 2 on the field full of HERO's dealing 2000 damage per turn, plus in other duels just provides damage for that reach into a area where you can make the final blow.So lets hear your thoughts about this card. I use that effect to my advantage sometimes when I can't do anything real great. evilfusion Posted March 3, 2013 Report Share Posted March 3, 2013 Here's the deal about Lady Heat. Firstly, it's a Pyro-Type. This means it doesn't have Warrior support the way most of the E-HEROs do. This may not seem like a gigantic deal, but Reinforcement of the Army is a very valuable card in HERO decks, especially since they can't run 3 Emergency Call anymore. Plus it can't use Warrior support. Its stats of 1300/1000 are subpar. Next, its effect deals 200 damage per E-HERO during your End Phase. This is very little damage, and while it can do a lot if you have multiples or managed to swarm the Field where it'll deal 1000 apiece. But with such weak stats, it's unlikely to survive battle, and it's rather hard to justify Summoning it in the first place compared to a different HERO like Alius, Stratos, Ocean, etc. Unless your opponent has only 200 LP, you do not want to topdeck this. Heat has the same issues, but it's an aggressive monster with 1600 starting ATK and 200 more per HERO, making it an 1800 when Summoned. That's more solid stats and it fulfills the FIRE Attribute if you use Nova Master. The biggest issue, though, is space. HERO Decks dont run tons of monsters, and they don't really have much space for something weak, slow, and only partially effective. It's not the worst HERO, but it's nonessential in a Deck with tons of support options and not enough slots. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BTW, did anyone else notice that once Lady Heat came out and Burstinatrix got reprints, Burst's vanilla text got changed from "the only woman" to "the first woman". The more you know.
