newhat Posted March 13, 2013 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 Because of the structure of the Damage Step, it has to be used in advance to stop Ryko, so Ryko can just blow something else up instead. Ophion + Dress still dies to Tiaramisu and Spellbook of Fate. And if you use Pandemic when Fate is activated it can just hit something else. The beauty of non-targeting... It leaves you Blaster, and if well timed Big-Eye proof. Of course the latter for Verz isn't an issue, but still. In some other decks it's a huge huge difference.
