Aerion Brightflame
Because a card that basicially is a built-in breaker, has 3k attack, can have 4 or more materials for it's effect, rapes hands and negates monsters, causes rediculous burn on top, is a spellcaster, conviently giving it a bunch of various SC support, DARK for even more support and is compatable with Gaia Charger all in 1 card is perfectly and totally fine. Are we forgetting how good Dolkaa was? Yes, this is harder to summon, I am aware of this. Dolka was good because it has Laggia as back up... This will never be banned until RUM gets an amazing searcher, and even then, that will just get hit. As it is, it's to inconsistent.

Did I say that? At all? So let me diffuse your argument. 1. Single S/T pop... okay? 2.So... once per turn, if you pay /4/ cards to make it, one of which is an unsearchable spell that tends to clog decks that aren't streamlined in a manner that makes using the RUMs possible, you get to negate one monster, halve their LP, and make them discard 1 card...? I'm sorry, is Stardust Assault banned right now? And even then, wouldn't Konami hit a RUM or RUM searcher over hitting this? 3. Spellcaster/Dark is a weak argument unless you can tell me what practical manner of Spellcaster/DARK support this benefits from, and even then it's iffy. 4. Why the hell would you Gaia Dragon this If you think this'll be banned in the realistic future, provided some insane RUM support doesn't appear, you're insane

Lose 400atk get piercing when it has no materials seems like a pretty good trade to me. I'm aware it takes 4 cards to make, I just feel it's just waaay too powerful. Makes me kind of wish they'd amend it and change the effect to be just the burn, or something. It's the hand rape I have more an issue with than anything else. You'd only do it if you would 100% win the game right there, and if you're running Gaia without running other 5/6s, you're wasting good space. It's not going to be banned. I'm not defending its design, but thinking its banworthy at this time, when you consider all factors, is silly.
Resident Fascist
I think I'll sig that. Fuck off. Apparently I'm not allowed an opinion anymore it seems.
Blake
Fuck off. Apparently I'm not allowed an opinion anymore it seems. "Opinion" and "stupid idea" are not synonymous. Besides, I decided not to, based on the fact that it's not worth putting it in my sig, so I already edited that out.

I'm just shaking my head at the stupid ass design choices at Konami R&D recently. Jump off my dick.
Blake
I said I'd sig your comment about Gaia Dragon, and you know full well that's where I said it. Yes, on paper, it's awful design that is too good. In actuality? When is it going to do anything that gets it banworthy in the forseeable future? Aerion Brightflame
Urgh... I've seen this being called the Quasar of Xyz. Blergh. OT: Is there a deck other than Hunders that would want this?
Sora1499
Gogogo Zombies could make it easily, but I don't think they'd really need to.
Canadian
Its effect is useful, its stats are good, but it's summoning condition makes it unplayable. I mean, all that work just to get Dark Hole'd, BTH'd, TT'd, Compulsed.... I'd rather put more optimal cards in my Extra Deck unless I was trying to bring this guy out, in which case, the deck will be far from competitive. Blake
So, after some testing, albeit brief, this thing actually seems really cool. 104 is a great beater that shuts down the opponent more than you'd think. C104 is an amazing follow up to that... And C104 v C104 interaction is too funny.

Eh... how consistent could you drop C104 cause that's more the issue, the card's freaking amazing but actually summoning it is the issue.
Aerion Brightflame
Which RUM is smartest to use with this? I mean, as a standalone, Numeron Force seems it since I believe it causes stuff like Torrential and Bottomless to miss the timing. I'm probably being an idiot about that. Blake
Consistency depends on the deck and how reliably you can put out 3x Level 4 for low cost + have a reliable enough method of summoning Rank 4s that RUM won't clog up the hand. Limited Force is best because it doesn't gaf about typing and means you're not relying on being able to make 104 just to go into C104 or a warrior into C105/Victory.
