I love this card.

 

It's cute and simple, and people keep forgetting about its anti-targetting effect and suicide their best cards.

 

The only time I actually get to go into it when something goes wrong with Kinka-Byo etc, like effect veiler and stuff

I was mistaken about Tribal being at the end of the Battle Phase, so you would be taking 3800 instead of 7600.

Then again, you'd be taking 3100 from Shooting Star afterward, so you'd be down to 1100 using this strategy.

 

Assuming Tribal isn't just killed by MST, anyway.

Tribal should already be face-up if you're doing things right, but then again, ygopro likes to have me draw all my limited cards and none of the cards I run 3 of.

Well I see a million and one things to go wrong... If you go swinging with Slacker, they'll D-Prison because they don't like this. She'll attempt to negate, Quasar will blow her up because it's once per turn. Any deck that makes Quasar and doesn't OTK with it that turn defends it with back row.

And having taken 6900 damage already, thanks to your gimmick combo, You're far from safe.

Nothing else nearly as consistent, because all the ones that did used Fisborg. Only other thing really left is Fableds.

D-Prison doesn't target, but the "combo" was stupid anyways.

Anyone running remotely good Fableds doesn't run Quasar because in order to consistently make Quasar you have to murder the semblance of actual consistency the deck actually has.

And no, the Quasar variant is utter shit, so you shouldn't be playing it at all. Encouraging people to use a bad variant is a horrible thing to do =/

I've tried both versions, the regular variant isn't really that much better. Besides, when I said Fableds, I was answering the question of "what else runs Quasar"; the deck exists regardless of its effectiveness. And I'm not encouraging people to play bad decks, I'm telling them to play what they [b]want[/b] rather than play by some arbitrary definition of what's good or bad as a deck. If you want to play Fabled Quasar, that's your right. If you want to play a gimmick deck, I can't stop you.
