Constellar Star Chart

Recommended Posts

People went bitching when I put it in mine, I don't really know why as you can draw up to 3 cards per turn with this, but people probably knew best. I think I want to go back and play with it again maybe.

It's decent in there at 2, although 3 clogs.

people didn't want it at all, which confused me. And at 3 it can clog that's correct, but remember how easy it is to Summon with these guys?

The issue that people have with it, I think, is that aside from the turbo builds, which do use this at high numbers to great effects, the other builds don't summon enough to get enough useage from it. So instead of running this, they run other stuff that can be much more useful in a wider variety of situations.

Whilst the deck does summon a lot easily, a lot of builds go for control instead, and hence won't be churning monsters out.

I dunno what this "turbo build" is, so yeah.

If you're playing the Deck correctly, you tend to make Pleiades and Tiras a good deal, Zenmaioh or Adreus a fair deal, and Volca to push for game. For Rank 4s, you only run 2 Constellar Xyz, Paladynamo, then answers to situations. Then there's Ptolemys and Gaia Dragon.

So, you have 6~ ways to set it off. And it's Once Per Turn.

Why would you use space on this over any other Spell or Trap card? Yay, a terrible topdeck that requires me to summon a Constellar Xyz or get nothing from it, dies to MST/Heavy, doesn't search out Kaus like Tenki does (Which should be at 3 before even 1 of this), and isn't a great use of a Once Per Turn quick bounce, unlike Tenki, Fiendish Chain, and other continuous cards you may or may not run.

And for what? A card that arguably performs worse than Upstart Goblin. Technically, it can +, and multiples of it +... But what's the point when all you're gonna get on average is a +0 draw that's cloggy as hell?

It's just a subpar card. It's not awful, but it's not good.
