Beserk Scales, possible combo?

i cant imagine a 3 card combo that nets you one weakass machine and 2 normal strength machines that are normally at a max of 1500 (remember to factor the +1k into the calculations. machina fortress wont work because 2500+1000=3500-2000=1500) being worth it in any way.

Looks like I was reading it incorrectly, thinking the "for the rest of the turn" part applied to its ATK boost as well, but re-reading it it just means the attacking part. Either way, even if it did work, it wouldn't be a game-breaking combo, just a funny one.

I feel that using this card would be slow for that. As it is required to use Machine Dup in a Main Phase, as it's Spell Speed 1, you might as well use something like Broken Bamboo Sword during your Main Phase 2 instead.

 

EDIT: Wait, BBS doesn't reduce it to 0 my bad. Any other card that does that?

Darkworld Shackles makes the monster's ATK 100.

Then after that you get rid of your 100 status with this: (technically it works casually in Machinas just fine, since all Unions should count)

I'm confused on how this would help anything. I'm quite sure they aren't equip cards until they are equipped.

You used Darkworld Shackles in your Machina Fortress to make it Machine Dupe-able, right?

Then you just give that Darkworld Shackles to an opponent's monster afterwards.

 

And yeah, that's what I mean, Gearframe, Peacekeeper, etc, are equips while in the Spell/Trap Zones, just move it to what you don't want to have destroyed.

It's not AMAZING, but it sounds fun to me on a casually inconsistent level. I'd do it, personally.

You are just gonna move them to your opponent's monster? That's not that productive I would say.

You move Darkworld Shackles to an opponent's monster.

You move your Unions within your monsters to make sure a weaker one that's being targeted for the attack survive, or survive Fissure or something like that, or if you have better plans for the Union and would rather have it out of the way (for example: Gadget + Fortress on field, Fortress is equipped with Gearframe and is attacked, you move Gearframe to your Gadget instead, let Fortress die, giving it it's effect, and then next turn you can unequip Gearframe to make an Xyz... or something).

Those kinds of random things.
