Sora1499
The 15-card extra deck limit is rather annoying in decks that have a wide variation of levels, and I'd be more than happy to see it go to a larger number like 20. What do you guys think?
Aix
Yeah, I get this problem with lower-tier decks because there are multiple levels I use, as well as both Synchroes AND Xyz. It shouldn't hurt too much, right?

Blake
... No.I'd love a bigger Extra Deck, but it's fine where it is. Less is more restrictive while more means more options could be used, and thus more counters to absolutely everything. The 15 card limit can force you to optimize what you're doing. Dementuo
The Extra Deck is a little tight at the current state in the metagame, though only for some decks. Back in the Synchro Era, the argument for a larger Extra was more possible since the strongest decks were Sabers, Junk Doppel, and Plants, all of which had stuffed Extras. However, of the top 3 decks (E Dragons, Evilswarm, Prophecy), only one of them (Evilswarm) could even try to have a tight Extra. E Dragons are purely Rank 7 and Level 8 Synchros, of which there are only 3 or 4 good Synchros and a total of 8-10 rank 7s that are run ( of each Dragossack and Big Eye, 1 Gaioabyss, and 1-3 Gaia Charger). That in total makes for 11-14 Extra slots, still leaving 1 open at the least. Prophecy are also very lenient about the Extra, some making use of a few Synchros (6 or 7 at the absolute most), two or three Rank 7s, the three Rank 2s, and about nothing else. That makes for 13 slots, leaving plenty of tech room. Evilswarm focuses on making Rank 4s, runs 2-3 Ophion, 1-2 Bahamut, and also makes Shock Master + Ouroboros. Alongside those are the myriad of good Rank 4s like Cowboy, Emeral, and Maestroke. With all of those, an Evilswarm player could potentially have a tight Extra, though that varies from player to player. And even then, Evilswarm definitely don't need a larger Extra. ihop
Mono-Mermail is probably the Meta deck most in need of a 20-card extra, it's a pain trying to fit everything in.

Agreed, they could easily do with a bigger extra. Chicken Fists would also benefit from a 20-card extra.
Canadian
I feel bad for Karakuri players who have to play all those Burei and Bureidos. A bigger extra deck would also mean more $$$$$$$$$$ for Konami which is the whole point of this thing.
Mysty
I'd personally like if the rule was up to 10 of each kind of card in the Extra Deck is allowed, i.e. 10 Fusion Monsters, 10 Synchro monsters, and 10 Xyz monsters. While this does tighten the noose on Synchro-centric/Xyz-centric decks, it also forces them to include Tuners to allow for a greater variety. Not to mention it would maybe let Fusions be an almost relevant part of Extra Decks again and somewhat restrict Fusion antics. Of course, this rule would be tough to verify at small tournaments, but it's also hard to verify that the opponent is cheating in any other way this game lets you inherently cheat.
