Blake
Y'know, despite being one of my favorite cards, this thing seriously underwhelms me whenever I see it, and I wonder why people devote deck space to it. It's not so much that it's bad or anything, it's just that it doesn't do much for all you payed to get it, other than beatstick and not die to effects. That said, it's still scary to stare it down when your major out to it is totally used up.
Premier Alexander Romanov
This is pretty good in Synchro Lavals as a backup to Shooting Quasar, since you mill a lot of Tuners into the Graveyard. Plus, it is a pretty powerful beatstick, and takes some creativity to take it down.
Toffee.
despite being one of my favorite cards-Oh the days of Powerforce...On-Topic: It's basically 5000 upon it hitting the field, and then just further becomes stronger the more you contribute to it; Basically it's just a giant beater with built-in protection. EmpoleMew
takes some creativity to take it down. Compulsory, D-Prison, Tiger King + Bear, Breakthrough Skill + destruction effect, Breakthrough Skill + Excalibur, Tiaramisu, Purgatory Trap Hole if you're feeling ambitious, Volcanic Queen/Lava Golem, Vylon Disigma, Verz Ouroboros... You can prevent it from even coming out with Ophion, Torrential, Bottomless, or Chain Disappearance the monsters summoned by Rekindling (because what other deck is summoning this), Bottomless or Torrential Red Demon's, and Solemns are still cards even with Warning at 1. You can simply steal it from your opponent with Big Eye or Bahamut, both of which are permanent or swipe it for a turn with Electric Virus. If getting rid of Red Nova is difficult, you may want to reevaluate the deck you're playing.
Strider Tigerwolf
It looks overwhelming, but decks just have too many outs to it...Unless you have something like Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode or something. Even then Shooting Quasar Dragon is always about 10x more smexier
Cute Rotten Yoshika
i stole this with bahamut once :3c the main issue is, as has already been mentioned, how underwhelming it is. its not inherently more destructive than the cards used to bring it out. its just a big goofy beater. at least it has some self protection, though the effort to bring it out nullifies that.
