Cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Material for a Summon. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be Tributed. When this card on the field is destroyed: The controller targets 1 Spell/Trap Card they control; return that target to the hand. You can only control 1 face-up "Green Duston".

Quite possibly the funnest casual deck I've been working with in a long time. They're hardly good, but they certainly seem funny enough for me to want to use them.

Clogging the opponent's monster spaces just seems priceless, shame it's so reliant on the opponent and by the time you get to use House Duston they've probably spammed the field already. I would love to see these guys get some more support as time goes on.

House Duston implies we will, but we saw how that went with Ojama's and Ojama Country.

OP, you could have rhymed the House Duston family descrip-*shot*

But, to be OT, they do look like their purpose is to clog the field, like how Spongebob clogged all the toilets in the last good episode before everything went to crap.  I just hope that they get Spell support, because the deck is essentially dead without House Duston being drawn.

House is destroyed.
Summon 3 Yellow and another House to Your side
Opponent gets 3 Attack Position Reds, and 1 Green.
King@8000 ATK, runs over Red, for a total of 8500 damage.

the line "You can only control 1 face-up '[color] Duston'" would like a word with you.

But even so, you can still Special Summon 1 House Duston, 1 Red, 1 Green, and 1 Yellow to each side for an OTK.

Why am I so derpy today? :/

Either way...
House #1 becomes a House, Yellow, Green, and Red, to both sides of the field.
So that's still 8000 ATK.

Once the rest come out, there's potential for a Monster Mash deck that uses these to thin your Deck by 9+ to draw into your big cards quickly. On paper.

The funniest thing about them:

This guy can be a OTK with them.

Lol at the notion that the Goblin King can reach 9000 with just Dust.

Hylarious. Also, being Level 1, it wouldn't be hard to fit.

Unless I'm missing something, 3 of a kind wouldnt work because you can only control 1 each on the field... Otherwise looks fun as hell

OT:

I'm just waiting for more to come...It still feels like they don't have enough..

Also S\T support would be hilarious XP

If you only have 1 of each Duston, then House will only really let King have about 5000 ATK.
Yellow lets you recycle House.
So if House can put Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, and /or White(or how ever many you can get out early game)
Then King will have 8000 ATK, since you put 4 Dustons on either side of the field.
All he would need to do, then, is simply run over Red(if you wanted 8500 damage; otherwise any of the Dustons would work) for game.
So yes, multiples would be important here.

I meant Three of a Kind the card, not as a part of a sentence...

Of course you would want multiple copies :P

  • 5 months later...

Interesting note with house's summon, while you can only control of of the colored dustons, you can still summon as many of the same kind to one side of the field, but they get destroyed and their effects activate, as their summon is all at once, not one at a time. So you can give your opponent 3 reds to inflict 1000 damage; of course that would still leave them with 2 more m zones they can use, and we cant have that. :P
