Scrooge
First Version: Perilous Greed Trap Card - Continuous When either player's Life Points are increased or decreased; double that amount. Second Version: Perilous Greed Trap Card - Continuous There can be only one "Perilous Greed" in play. When either player's Life Points are decreased; each player must discard 1 card or pay 1000 Life Points. Third Version (Last): Perilous Greed Trap Card - Continuous There can be only one "Perilous Greed" in play. When either player's Life Points are decreased; both players must either send one card from the Deck to the Graveyard or pay 1000 Life Points. Zazubat
6000 damage with the Gift Card combo? Are you nuts!? Furthermore, this would totaly slow down the game as you would not be able to do any battle damage until that card is gone. I also think that this card would be able to stack with more copies, making it even more insane, on top of that, there's no cost here. Talking about costs, maybe you should look into how PSCT works, as your card doesn't follow that at all, you see, there's no cost here, rather you got a condition, meaning it should be a colon instead. Judαs
Overpowered? Yes. No one likes burn decks. You made a card that allows them to win twice as faster. Hell, with this card you could win the duel even by playing those stupid Direct Damage Normal Spell Cards. I don't think there might be a way to balance this, really. Hopefully it now is not overpowered.
cr47t
I have taken your comments into consideration and adjusted the card. Hopefully it now is not overpowered. @Italic: No, you haven`t. The only real way to adjust a card is to edit the original topic post, otherwise people will ignore the extra post you just made and talk about the old version. @Underlined: It`s almost as bad now (the new version) as it was before. Because you could just discard your opponent`s hand, then bomb him even more damage.
Scrooge
I am fairly certain that people do read threads in which they intent to post, especially if the post number is small as in this case. But you are correct on the fact that a clarification and a more reader-friendly format would be more attractive. New version: Perilous Greed Trap Card - Continuous There can be only one "Perilous Greed" in play.
