If this card has "Coach King Giantrainer" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect. ● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; draw 1 card and reveal it, then if it was a monster, inflict ?00 damage to your opponent. ~British Soul~ Posted May 11, 2013 Report Share Posted May 11, 2013 Yeah the nerf on this thing is disappointing because its Rank-Up effect is just a weaker version of Giantrainer's effect, so I wouldn't waste my time making this unless I suck all of Giantrainer's Materials dry. Azuh Posted May 11, 2013 Report Share Posted May 11, 2013 Yeah, the fact that Gaintrainer using all its Materials upon summoning makes this card lose its potential effects that the anime gave it. But it should've upped it by inflicting stronger damage or be able to draw 2. This is the card I was looking forward to most out of the CXyz and the nerf kinda made it a little stupid, but netherless, I can't complain cause its effect is still decent anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
White Void Posted May 13, 2013 Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 Looking at the picture closely, I can read that it says "If this card has an Xyz Monster as Xyz Material" and not specifically Giantrainer. So it's more like C106 in that regards. So if we ever get a better RUM (something more like Limited BF) for CXyz than Barrier's Force, this could be relevant. It dodges bear, compulse, big eye, priestess, heavy infantry, etc. And 3800 beats over damn near everything by itself. The problem: Ranking up Giantrainer.
