First cards that came to mind were Nitro Warrior, Blaze, and Slifer. So I've been trying Slifer with Black Garden now as a means of keeping Stealth Bird protected. As far as I can tell, it works identically to how it's ALWAYS worked, and none of its erratas seem to have drastically altered how anyone would have interpreted the text. But on topic, Slifer was always my favorite God card. Always. It just seemed incredibly badass in the anime. Sure, Obelisk was badass but that was because Kaiba is badass and used it awesomely. Ra was cool, but so incredibly complicated and random that it was hard to appreciate it the same way as Slifer. Plus, I loved its art. But it took forever to get released, and after Ra's treatment, I feared the worst. But it barely got any nerf at all, works almost identically like the anime version, and the art was fantastic...but I can't get one because it's valued so high as a result of awesome art, exclusive to JUMP, and the fact it's not Ra-level nerf. I've got mixed feelings about the reprint. On one hand, I love Slifer's original art. On the other hand...I love Slifer's alternate art. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gotta love that giant lightning beam. In terms of usability with Black Garden, Wanghu outclasses it for being a Level 4. This thing is just too unwieldy and too unpredictable. I mean, this isn't a bad card at all, but the effort put into summoning it doesn't really do it any favors in the deck really. Although I am interested in the idea and it does seem pretty cool.
