星の光の希望 [Toyo Single]

That was the worst title ever. Holy crap my creativity is dead. I can't even make a funny one-liner in this opening paragraph. RC sucked my soul out with their 10/10 reviews. Anyway, this is meant to be a support... for an archetype.. or something, idk.

[spoiler=Stardust Support? My brain just died.]

When this card is Normal Summoned: you can target 1 Level 3 or lower non-tuner monster in your graveyard; Special Summon it. That monster's effect(s) is negated. Once per turn: you can tribute this card and another non-tuner monster you control; Special Summon 1 Dragon-type Synchro Monster from your extra deck whose level is equal to the combined level of the tributed cards +1.

I think it's a potato.

Looking around, it can support Lightsworns. This + Lumina - 1 monster in your hand = Celestial Dragon. Otherwise, it has no notable targets. That restriction on Synchro Summoning is a really nice balancing factor, but this card really doesn't do much. There aren't any other LIGHT Archetypes with useful enough Level 3 or lower monsters to warrant running this.

Meh. Probably not a good idea to go make a random card with no idea what it's supposed to do. I made that mistake before as well.

Well, I kinda want it to be Stardust support at first, then I turned it into Agent support and then my brain just collapsed. Well, it can technically make a lot of stuffs for Synchro-ing and maybe increasing hand size. The second effect is also quite nice to recycle Earths.

EDIT: did I just review my own card? The f**k, brain?

EDITEDIT: I kinda updated it a bit, now it's mostly just a generic Tuner with 2 effects, kinda T'lion-y.

Yes, but there's in no consistent way to Special Summon it for EARTH. Chances are, you will Normal Summon this thing... and then you can't do anything, so you are just left with a random Level 4 with mediocre stats and a Level 3 lying on the field.

I thought of Venus at first, but then I thought, chances are you've used her already, but now I realize... I suppose you could make a quick Mist Wurm with this thing, so this card could be possible in Agents.

You might wanna change that, I updated it so it's more Debris-esque.

Hey, it's Deep Forest Fairy.

Being able to Synchro for 5-7, trigger Dandy or Doppelwarrior and bring out an instan it 1-card Level 8 Synchro in any Deck running Level 3 monsters...Too much. Too splashable, unrestricted, LIGHT Fairy...Making a single-use Stardust off a topdeck and a single Special Summon is good. Making a single-use Scrap Dragon this way is better than a Synchro Summon since your opponent can't revive it. And it can revive any Level 2 monster and make Gungnir.
