宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Is this a CXyz? I assume it is. It is, isn't it? It's not meant to be summoned via the RUM (hehe) cards, because they are racist piles of sh** that can only work on Number cards. I just found out their existence and I hate them already. Why do you have to keep them Number Exclusive, eh, Konami? Why do you promote using boring old Numbers over and over again when you could make creative upgrades to existing Xyzs thus increasing perceived value and making you sell more copies thus giving you money Alright, rant over, let's get on with the card. As you can see, Yugico's template looks like absolute poop when you give it long effects, so bear with me on this. The second effect is not something to protect your Warriors. It's in fact, a restriction. Because, you can't really Tribute/Synchro/Fusion with them, and, you can't Banish them to fulfill costs. So there you go. I actually want to make a RUM card that isn't Number Specific, but rather, Type Specific.
3 Level 5 Warrior-type monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card using a Rank 4 Warrior-type Xyz Monster you control. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster is also attached to this card) Face up Warrior-type monsters on the field can only be sent to the Graveyard if they are destroyed. If this card has a Warrior-type Xyz Monster attached to it, it gains the following effect: • Once per turn: you can Detach 1 Xyz Material; target 1 other monster you control; this card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK until your opponent's End Phase. If you do, the targeted monster cannot attack this turn.
Kyng's Old Account
To answer your question, it is indeed a Chaos Xyz.This thing is really good Warrior-Type support. It would see a lot of play in Noble Knights what with its ideal abilities and Laundsallyn possibilities. Also, it has a nice and balanced protection spread which is relatively appreciated. Its effect does confuse me though. Do you need a clause which specifies that the card that Scales of Justice leached from can't attack? I mean, you wouldn't want to anyways.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Well, it's not really leeching of it as much as SOJ gains it's ATK. The target's ATK remains the same, so I had to put in an ATK restriction so it isn't a complete OTK machine.
L0SS
Nice support is nice. The nearest thing to non-number Chaos monsters previously was Gaia Dragon, so this is a welcome thing. It has a nice beater effect that will team well with Noble Knights, maybe Sams too; and some protection thrown in. The last clause is obviously there to prevent some silly OTK stuff, which is fair enough. The fact it lasts until your opponent's End Phase hits the sweet spot, really. Seems pretty solid. Aix
Typically self-upgrading Xyz are the same Rank as the Xyz they are upgrading from (see Number C39: Utopia Ray and also Shark Drake Weiss). I don't see this as Warrior-Type support as it wouldn't be Summoned often in a Warrior-Type Deck, except perhaps Six Sams, because Decks like Bubble Beat and Noble Knights are unlikely to get a 2000+ ATK beater to stand beside this guy, they simply exhaust their efforts into Special Summoning Blade Armor and/or Excalibur. However, this card is a powerful generic card and very useful for running over problem cards. Nice card.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Typically self-upgrading Xyz are the same Rank as the Xyz they are upgrading from (see Number C39: Utopia Ray and also Shark Drake Weiss). Well, I wanted it to look more like the newer CXyzs, which are typically 1 Rank higher than their base form. Plus, I wanted to make to Warrior-specific RUM but couldn't find a decent picture, so I left it that way because it's cooler looking-like.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Chaos Sexyz will be the name of my next set. In celebration, bump!
TRUE RULER^(Imper.Di )
It took me a while to see how the warrior-protection was a limited but I guess it does stop Synchros and Tribute Summons.
Zextra
Chaos Sexyz will be the name of my next set. In celebration, bump! That reminds me of the nickname Agro gave me, which I'm going to refrain from saying. *though it's probably quite obvious* Anyways, it's been a while since the last old-style Chaos Xyz, so it's quite refreshing to see something like this. The restriction is quite interesting, and is a concept I'd like to see more of. Obviously, you can go into it as an alternative to Utopia Ray when you're trying to push for game and you're not losing, and as pointed out earlier, though limited, it also has its uses in decks such as Six Sams, Heroes, and perhaps Noble Knights (replacing a used Excalibur would be wonderful). Furthermore, the potential to meld together your monsters' strength to ram through those big bosses without encouraging an OTK is nice as well.
Here's a nicer-looking version with an OCG correction: 3 Level 5 Warrior-Type monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card using a Rank 4 Warrior-type Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster is also attached to this card) Face up Warrior-type monsters can only be sent to the Graveyard if they are destroyed. If a Warrior-type Xyz Material is attached to this card, it gains the following effect: • Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material and target 1 other monster you control; this card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK until your opponent's next End Phase. The targeted monster cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.
