Northern Sage
Equip only to a Warrior-Type monster. While your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, the ATK of the equipped monster is doubled. While your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, the ATK of the equipped monster is halved. The only thing this has over Megamorph is that it doesn't double the original ATK. Discuss.
Lonk
It's Megamorph's edgier cousin because he only works with warriors!!!
Sleepy
Maybe being part of an archetype is another plus, depending on if it has any advantage from that (I really haven't seen Heroics that are not Extra Sword) With Megamorph being generic and at 3, this really makes very little difference. Oh I remember Megamorph used to be limited xD
newhat
That difference is enormously important. First, because they stack--this turns the Normal Summon of Gilford the Legend into an OTK--and second, because there are a ton of little-used Warriors that can boost themselves over 4000. Zubaba General, for instance.
