Azuh
Are they just in general a broken theme in Yu-Gi-Oh? Are their applications just way too strong? Discuss how Quick-Play Spells just make a lot of things obsolete in this game, or even discuss if you want even more of them, I don't care really
Wildflame
I don't know what you're talking about, most of them (specially the ones in the OP) are really benevolent. Except Spellbook Fucking Judgement, that is. I predict an archetype centered around Quick-Play Spells could appear soon.
Lonk
While they have the advantages of being both Spells and Traps simultaneously, there aren't any Quick-Play Spells that can be considered "dangerous", well except for maybe Gemini Spark and the obvious Fate/Judgment. Zazubat
I would also like a Quick-Play archetype, that would be fun. I do think that there are some that are annoying, but there's plenty other things that are worse than Quick-Plays.
newhat
I don't think Forbidden Lance is particularly benevolent, as it is more rewarding to the player who is ahead.
Superdoopertrooper
The only Quick-Play Spells in the whole game that deserve to be on the list are Spellbook of Judgment and Limiter Removal. The rest are all practically perfect.
Sleepy
Quick-play Spell Cards are basically better Normal Trap Cards when it comes down to the mechanic. I don't know how Konami thinks like when making them, but I guess they just want a less counterable Trap that can be used from the hand. Lance and Book can be too versatile, and MST was actually not that good for the gamestate when it first came to 3, it's just that powercreep went up enough that MST is not even that relevant anymore. Can't help but think all of them could have been Traps and it would have still been fine. Then again, Normal Trap Cards don't exactly help you make comebacks when in topdeck mode. Not that that many Quick-Plays help that way anyways.
