Northern Sage
So much anti-GEPD. Calling it being based on Shenlong.
~British Soul~
The fact that this is Anti-GEPD is for plot relevance, to test Kaito to see if he can surpass himself, especially since the negation effect looks to be continuous.
L0SS
My Hieratics say yes please. Is the second effect non-detach? That makes it win harder. I like.
~British Soul~
Is the second effect non-detach? Yes it is, and that makes it more boss.
Aerion Brightflame
It's actually a decent Rank 8? It's a Dragon, and presumably LIGHT. Konami..... thank you for finally being kinda nice to Photons. Now don't screw us over when you are making it a real card.

~British Soul~
Kaito's side of the plot in a nutshell: DRAGON VS DRAGON VS DRAGON VS DRAGON VS DRAGON Pretty much, Kaito's role has been and always will be: TO HUNT ALL THE DRAGONS.

Lonk
So what happens when both this is on the field and NGEPD with GEPD as a material is Summoned? Presumably, since Dragguong is out on the field first, NGEPD's effect will be negated.
evilfusion
Neo Galaxy's negation is a Trigger Effect. Number 46 would win because it's a Continuous Effect that's already being applied. It's the same idea as if you Summoned Neo Galaxy against Skill Drain. I'm convinced that Number 46 is a dragon that at some point, traveled through time/space/whatever to become Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and/or Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, explaining why Tachyon and Photon Dragon resonate, and that Photon Dragon and this dragon also reacted to each other. Galaxy-Eyes is almost explicitly said to be from another dimension as Kaito's Photon Deck seems to have been built by Dr. Faker using science (this sounds way too weird to justify) from another dimension. Tachyon Dragon definitely came from time/space and is somehow related to the Barian World as Misael sealed it into a card somewhere in the Barian World, and has clearly used it before. Then again, the Legendary Numbers are somehow closely related to the Barians, so Number 46 almost definitely became Tachyon Dragon. Misael uses Level 8 Dragons and Number 46 has effects related to Summoning Dragons.
Jord200
The episode comfirms it doesn't need to detatch for the second effect. My theory is that that Numberr 46 split into two parts. 46 itself is the original dragon, but is currentlt just a shell. One part became Photon Dragon. The other became Tachyon Dragon. My theory is that that Numberr 46 split into two parts. 46 itself is the original dragon, but is currentlt just a shell. One part became Photon Dragon. The other became Tachyon Dragon. That's what I thought, too. I have another aspect of the theory: If Dr. Faker created Kaito's Photon Deck and technology using Barian World power/science, then maybe Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon was cloned (or an equivalent) from Tachyon Dragon. Tachyon Dragon almost certainly is directly related to Number 46, since they're both Rank 8 Dragon Xyz Numbers with 3000/2500 stats and effects that negate opposing monsters. Photon Dragon is a "Photon" (slower than Tachyons, scientifically speaking) and counters Numbers (a Barian tactic) and is an Effect Monster, not an Xyz, the only one of the trio like this. With Haruto's power (presumably Barian-granted), it became an Xyz that negates Effects (Barian tactic!), but requires Galaxy-Eyes as a Material to do this, similar to how Rank-Up Magic is used to evolve Tachyon into a Chaos Number. In which case, it would somewhat explain why Tachyon and Photon are "Galaxy-Eyes" monsters but this is not, and why Misael is so keen on claiming Galaxy-Eyes from Kaito: Kaito's monster is a derivative of HIS monster. Cloning would make sense that both of them can evolve into a "Neo Galaxy-Eyes" that are almost identical in form (3 headed dragon Xyz with 4500 ATK). Besides, isn't "clone superiority" a common conflict in some works? The cloned creature vs the original to see which is better? (Mew vs Mewtwo, etc) I clearly spend too much thought on this. Ruined FOREVER!!! Though, I am 100% positive that Kaito gets this card after the next episode, and will get a Rank-Up Card to go with it.
evilfusion
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kaito will have the Number. After all, he'd be the one winning it, and it'll probably be significant for his eventual re-rematch with Misael. He's the first non-Yuma/Astral protagonist to Duel against a legendary Number.
