thebats
It's a pretty cool idea it is a toon monster and can be special summoned by the other card I have made as a trap card. It has 12 stars and has ???? Atk and ??? Def once it is on the field the person the card belongs to automatically wins the duel. The trap card: Based on the movie it is called pyramid of light and special summons Yugi. I think I have attached them boh to files i'm quite new to the site and this is my first post don't expect it to be 1st class :D

AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
I'm normally not in less-laid back sections such as PCC, so forgive me if this may seem a little too harsh for you. Anyways, you keep mentioning a Trap Card, yet you have inadvertently made it a Spell Card. There also has been, for years, a Yugioh card named "Pyramid of Light" that is based on the same exact pointy object that you have based your pyramid on. Having your cards share the same name as another existing Yugioh card is generally looked down upon, so you should change the name of it a bit (or perhaps you may want to change the name entirely to something else, but that seems unlikely). Another thing that is looked down on is the card art when it lacks a background, such as the picture you have chosen. There are two ways to fix this: either change the picture to one that does have a background in it, or to change it into a Written Card (this means you simply put down the relevant stats of the card, you DO NOT post a card with no art in it and call it a Written Card). Now that I have covered some of the less important areas of the card, let's get to the main attraction: your card's effect. Right now, it's not exactly clear. First, it just says "Summon." Even though you probably intend to have that be a Special Summon, we cannot always tell this, and there are always people who are willing to exploit the lack of "Special" to be able to Summon the monster when they clearly could not Special Summon (such as when the opponent has something like Jowgen the Spiritualist or Evilswarm Ophion). The card has a second issue in its effect as it does not specify where you Special Summon your monster from. Normally, a lack of place to Special Summon a monster from would automatically mean that you could only Special Summon the monster from your hand, but now the correct way to do so is to mention where it can be Special Summoned from. A Spell that Special Summons a monster from your Deck is almost always accompanied by some sort of cost, restriction, or requirement to help balance it out, as opposed to Spells that Special Summon from the hand which are usually seen as a rather lacking card. In this scenario, however, out of the two places I mentioned to Special Summon your monster from, the hand would be a much more balanced place to Special Summon it from. Alternatives include from the Graveyard or from the Banish Zone, but that probably would not go well flavor-wise here. That would mean that Yugi died or something. Speaking of your monster, the ability to win the duel have been limited to only eight cards if I remember correctly and my sources are correct. Each of these cards have certain conditions to fulfill in order to give you this victory, and each of them are much more difficult to accomplish than this monster's. For example, the card Final Countdown requires that you have to wait for 20 turns (10 of yours, 10 of your opponent's) and has a hefty Life Point cost, yet it is still disliked. This is due to the method of victory, which involves hiding behind a plethora of Battle Phase-ending cards, such as Threatening Roar and Battle Fader. This often creates a situation where, despite the other player's best efforts, the player who is running Final Countdown simply could not be touched since the attacker continuously ran into a card that ended the Battle Phase before a successful attack could take place. In more technical terms, it prevents something called "player interaction." This term is hard to explain, but it simply boils down to the actions you and your opponent do to one another. For example, you activate Soul Taker on your opponent's Thunder King Rai-Oh, but your opponent chains Forbidden Lance to stop her monster from being affected by any other Spells or Traps for that turn. This duo of cards can also be boiled down to something: Exodia, but with only two cards needed to win rather than five. The best Exodia Decks consist of long draw engines that take up too much room to really fit in any other Decks efficiently, and this leads to the Exodia player having a long turn to draw frantically in a desperate attempt to gather all five pieces, much to the boredom and frustration of the other player. Even though this is slightly more vulnerable by being able to be negated by the likes of Solemn Judgment, Solemn Warning, or Evilswarm Ophion, the need for only two materials makes up for this and then some (you only need one card if the Spell Special Summons from the Deck). The reason I bring up player interaction is that this is a game, and as a game, it is played, most of the time, for fun. Your monster, by being able to win the duel immediately upon its Summon, pretty much says "I don't want to play anymore, oh, and I win." So instead of having your monster win the duel immediately, let your monster do something else that doesn't involve horribly lengthy turns of drawing or gigantic walls that may never get breached. Also, as with your Spell, the monster has a few minor errors as well. You said it would be a Toon Monster, but Toon Monsters have a large bit of text that always accompanies them that states something about Toon World, the fact that it can't attack during the turn it was Summoned, and some other things (there are three different versions of this, if I was told correctly). Instead, you made it a Tuner, which has nothing to do with Toon Monsters. Tuner Monsters are the special monsters that are used to Synchro Summon. Again, I apologize if I sounded too rude in this post, and also, welcome to YCM. Finally, we do the [img] thing rather than attaching images here (you should be able to get this link by clicking on your card in the card maker, among other ways). Phantom Roxas
ONE THOUSAND POINTS TO A BACKGROUND CHARACTER. That was an excellent review, my good fellow.Sorry, thebats. I know you're trying to do something good, but please take his words to light. People generally do not like auto-win cards, especially if the conditions are as easy as using one Spell Card to Summon one monster from anywhere. If you're still new to Yu-Gi-Oh!, that's all well and good. Do not feel that you are unwanted here, as we have many sections on this site where you could participate in discussions I'd have no reason to punish you for. I will be locking this thread as well, but I await to see when you reach the heights you are aiming for.
