I Hate Snatch Steal
"Where there is light, there is darkness" - unknown If, as the anime suggests, zexal weapons (ZWs) are cards of light, then living arms are their dark counterparts. You can target 1 level 5 or higher DARK Warrior-Type monster or 1 DARK Warrior-Type xyz monster you control that is not equipped with "Living Arms - Spiral Dragon"; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1100 ATK. While this card is equipped to a monster this way: once per turn you can use 1 of these effects * Target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the owner's hand, *When the equipped monster is targeted for an attack; negate that attack. You can target 1 level 5 or higher DARK Warrior-Type monster or 1 DARK Warrior-Type xyz monster you control that is not equipped with "Living Arms - Spined Tiger"; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1900 ATK. If the equipped monster leaves the field and this card leaves the field as result: target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. You can target 1 level 5 or higher DARK Warrior-Type monster or 1 DARK Warrior-Type xyz monster you control that is not equipped with "Living Arms - Shadow Pegasus"; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1200 ATK. While this card is equipped this way, your opponent cannot target that monster with card effects. If this card leaves the field while equipped this way: target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand. You can target 1 level 5 or higher DARK Warrior-Type monster or 1 DARK Warrior-Type xyz monster you control that is not equipped with "Living Arms - Lightning Raptor"; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 1600 ATK. While this card is equipped this way, if that equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead. Also, once per turn: you can target 1 spell/trap card your opponent controls; destroy it. 2 "Living Arms -" monsters Must be special summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck and cannot be special summoned by other ways. You can target 1 level 5 or higher DARK Warrior-Type monster or 1 DARK Warrior-Type xyz monster you control that is not equipped with "Super Living Arms - Alloy Beast"; equip this monster you control to that target. It gains 2200 ATK. While this card is equipped to a monster this way, when that equipped monster attacks, the effects of that attack target are negated while that monster is face-up during the Battle Phase. Also, once per turn when a spell, trap or card effect is activated: you can negate that activation and if you do, destroy that card. Support: During the End Phase, if this card is in your hand or graveyard and a "Living Arms -" card(s) you controlled was destroyed this turn: you can discard 1 card; special summon this card from your hand or graveyard and if you do, banish this card when it leaves the field. If this card is summoned: you can add 1 "Living Arms -" monster from your deck to your hand. If this card was summoned by its effect, it cannot be used for a synchro or xyz summon until the end of your opponent's next turn. You can only activate each effect of "Distopia Avenger" once per turn. vla1ne
Nice set. But the equip monsters feel just like the actual counterparts, so I can't really rate them well. they might be better off having effects that make them feel a little farther apart from the originals, but other than that, they're good cards. As for the distopias, they're well balanced, so I can't say too much about them lol. when a card is well made, there isn't much that can constructively be said about it. avenger might be a bit abuseable, since it feels like one of the E-Drags with that summon and search effect, but since it's an end phase effect, it should be ok to keep.
