Personal Info
Name: Staccato
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Birthdate: December 21
Place of Birth: Outside Harmony, in the Melody Desert, Allegretto
Seiyū: Kaori Ishihara (Aladdin from Magi)

Staccato is outwardly very bright and cheerful, completely unreserved and eager to see more of the world. He seems to simply want to have fun travelling to different places and trying new things. Staccato can be very charming and cute and knows how to say all the right things in the flow which allows him to easily get close to people. It throws people way off and gets them to want to do things for him. This is actually not an act, it is a real side to him, however, there is another side that is equally real.

Staccato is bipolar, the other side of him somewhat twisted as he is unable to truly trust people, believing they seek to take advantage of him and the best way to respond is to do the same. He makes use of his assets and the ease which he gets along with others. While this side of him yearns for companionship and love, but fears it at the same time, fearing it will dull his blade and weaken him. He lives by the creed that only the strongest survive in this dog-eat-dog world and trains every day in order to become stronger.

Staccato is a cute, but diminutive young child standing at a mere 4'4" (132 cm), looking younger than he already is, it's obvious that he hasn't even touched puberty yet. He is quite thin, but rather lean and muscular and deceptively strong despite his youth. Staccato has very long, lustrous silver hair that flow freely as a mass down his back to his ankles, with the exception of one large strand of hair going down the center of his back, which carry and hold back his bangs, tied together by one small cord at the tip. His large eyes are very luminous and bright, but they can look quite sad and desolate, the right is a vibrant aquamarine in color while the left is an electric yellow. He has otherwise very small and delicate features. On his left ear is hangs a silver earring in the shape of a crescent moon.

Staccato, when outside the desert, wears a very thin, long, pure black cloak that hides everything on his body and reaches just a centimeter off the ground, underneath though, is a black shirt and very baggy black pants stuffed inside his black leather boots. A black leather belt carries three sheaths on the left (his left) and two on the right. All his clothing are of the very highest quality silk. When traversing the desert, he dons a ragged sand-colored cloth cloak that catches the wind easily instead of his usual black one in order to camouflage as well as ward off the heat.

Staccato was born to a gypsy band that travelled the desert and doubled as a merchant caravan. He was born in the desert itself at the stroke of midnight when the caravan settled down. The desert was a harsh, dry environment for a child to grow up, but there he lead a happy life amongst friends and family. His grandfather was an adept at the esper weaving of water and Staccato learned from him aiming to take his place as the one who would provide water for the group, an essential ability for those who lived in the desert. At the age of eight, however, Staccato was placed in the care of a "family friend", a loan shark, as the band fell into poverty. His family was unable to repay the debt and Staccato was then given to bandits, the loan shark's lackeys. Staccato felt utterly betrayed.

He was trained in the rudimentary art of killing and was then put to use in luring and deceiving merchants by pretending he was lost in the desert. Then, he would assassinate the guards when their guard was down and/or poisoning the group's food. Staccato lived during this time in constant fear as the leader of bandits would often abuse him in his drunken rage.

When Staccato was ten, a renowned assassin was hired by a very wealthy merchant to eliminate the bandit group, but he was surprised to find them already dead, poisoned by Staccato at the first opportunity when he could take it no more. Amused, the assassin then took Staccato in as an apprentice seeing as there was no need to kill him. Staccato trained under his new master for a year, but he never trusted the man. His suspicions were proven correct when the man framed him for a crime and tried to flee when the police came in, however, instead Staccato caught up with him, familiar with his escape routes and habits, surprised the assassin and killed him. Taking his wealth and weapons before the police came.

Now Staccato simply travels the world, every now and then stealing something to get by.

Affinity: Water and Metal
Equipment: The Five Blades, five identical steel daggers and Esper-made artifacts, each is embedded with a Nether Gem at the guard.
Water Esper - Five Flow Daggers: The five daggers are connected and suspended in the air by a stream of water drawn from Staccato's water flask. Like this, all five daggers are usable in combat at once. Unlike what one may assume, he is not able to free control them, rather, the daggers he are not holding must mimic or follow the movements of any that he is holding. If a dagger is stretched more than a meter away from the closest dagger, it is disconnected and drops.
Metal Esper - Five Chain Daggers: The five daggers surge with powerful, but short-ranged electrical energy and are connected by a powerful electrical current. Getting caught in this current is... dangerous to say the least.
Okay. The IC Thread should be up soon. It won't be as good as the original though since for whatever reason YCM god saw fit NOT to save it, soooo yeah. Rewriting everything ._.

As for where I've been the past couple days, my classes started up once again. Was busy with that. I'm hoping things settle down soon though. It's irritating not to have any time on my hands v.v

Maybe we can PM them that the RP started, in case they didn't already know?

Just a friendly reminder would suffice. If they don't respond, then we can be coarse with them. After that, they could perhaps be kicked from the RP. That's how I would do it, but at least a friendly reminder to those who have yet to post should be a standard.

So yeah. I'm in favor of at least the friendly reminder to those who haven't posted via PM.

"Feel the energy of the world around you flow! If you are so admirable and loving of nature, then let it be your strength!"

Name: Zeke Daea

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Birthdate: August 23rd

Affinity: Earth & Fire

Country of Birth: Arcadia

City/Village of birth: Arcades

Personality: Zeke is a born fighter. He asks no questions of anyone unless they benefit his well-being. Zeke is also particularly fond of nature and its elements. Whenever somebody insults nature, he is immediate to strike. Zeke hates himself however, since he is cursed with a power that destroys nature. Nonetheless, he admires the capabilities that allow his two Espers; one that creates, one that destroys, two work together. When Zeke takes pride in something, he is one to flaunt about it. Even though he is one to flaunt his abilities; he'd prefer to illustrate it through battle, rather than words.

Espers:
Sea of Blossoms [Hana no Umi - 花の海]: By focusing a meditative energy into the palm of his hands, Zeke forms a flame that covers them. By striking the ground with one or both palms, a certain radius of the field is covered in overgrown blossoms. These blossoms are approximately the size of an adolescent child and spread along the field as far as five meters to twenty meters. When these blossoms have fully blossomed into flowers, they emit a pollen that can cause paralysis if too much has been inhaled. These blossoms also have a strange mineral within the pollen that allows them to spark into flames in contact with fire. [This abilities range and strength are dependent on the amount of meditative energy applied to the user's hands. By using both hands, the amount of meditative energy used is halved, and the range can be maximized.]

Mushroom Forest [Kinokonomori - きのこの森]: Only those with vast knowledge of the Earth Esper can properly perform this ability. Zeke takes in a deep breath, inhaling a mass amount of Natural Energy. After holding his breath for approximately three seconds, Zeke blows out spores at the ground that can be carried along with the wind to cover a large radius of the field. This area is typically anywhere from five meters in front of Zeke to seventy yards down the battlefield. Depending on the amount of Natural Energy inhaled, these mushrooms can vary anywhere from the size of a fist, to the size of a gallon of milk. Every three to four seconds, these mushrooms emit a poison that only Earth Esper users are immune to. The reasoning behind this is their connection to nature, and their ability to breathe in natural energy that can be turned into oxygen rather the normal air that other people would breathe. The poison within these mushrooms lack the ability to kill. The poison emitted from these mushrooms contain a poison that attacks individual nerves and causes an undead rigamortis within an individual. This rigamortis lasts no longer than ten seconds before wearing off in each individual joint and nerve. Since it attacks thousands of nerves within a matter of seconds however, most of them manage to break free at the same time. After this, the body will steadily become accustomed to the poison. Since this Esper Ability applies the same mineral as Hana no Umi, it can also spark into flames using fire.

[If Allowed] Superior Nature Resolve [Sugureta Shizen Wa Kaiketsu - 優れた自然は解決]: Zeke extends his arms outward to his sides with open palms. By channeling his energy into the ground, Zeke enriches the soil within a one-hundred yard distance, thus causing his Earth Esper abilities to have more elongated and extensive effects. The user of this ability must remain within this stance in order to maintain the Esper Ability. By channeling a different Natural Energy into the ground, such as Zeke's Fire Esper, the stems and roots of surrounding trees, plants, and flowers can ignite. Channeling Natural Energy of Elemental Espers- Water, Fire, Earth, or Wind- allow these plants to implement them into their pollens or growth. When a plant, tree, or flower grows using an Elemental Esper, that plant, tree, or flower can be controlled using either Earth Esper, or the Esper of the Natural Element used. After the user has released the ability, the effects will remain for approximately ten minutes within each affected plant, tree, or flower. This Esper requires more energy than most Esper abilities, and can't be used more than once per battle.

Biography:
Zeke was born into a noble family in the capital of Arcadia, Arcades. Arcades had always been known for its powerful Esper users, so it was a given that Zeke would be taught at a Private Esper Institution. For his entire childhood and adolescent life, he was to be trained in the arts of Esper Control. Zeke spent thirteen years at the institution before his parents believed he was ready to leave. By the time those thirteen years had passed, Zeke had become an adult, and all of those years spent at the institution raised up a student whose presence would never be forgotten. From entering the academy, Zeke had a special bond with Esper that no person would typically possess. Zeke admired Nature in all its essence, and spent every living day, every available minute studying how it functioned. In the institution, the children were taught at a young age how to fight with just their hands. In Arcades, they called it a "Test of Perceptible Strength." The reason that they had given it this name, was because hand-to-hand combat was visible between two individuals. One could easily assume how strong another individual was by the rough markings on his hands. Those with scars and permanent wounds were the strongest. They stood strong against opposition and were considered the most powerful among the Esper users. Zeke was among one of the elite with his hands. Every day, Zeke would challenge a new opponent, take in their strategy, how they fought with their hands; open-palm, fist, defensive, offensive, and so on. By facing all these different fighting styles, Zeke could adjust himself and his skills to engage the opposing individual. He was expected to be a legend among the institution, but that changed when the Deans came face to face with him.
The Deans of the institution were mighty Esper users who had seen war and graduated from the institution. They had survived and been initial in the change of the battle. On top of all that, most were gifted in two or more Espers. The Primo Dean was tall, thin man, with long red hair, glasses, brown eyes, and hands that looked as if they could crush your throat in just one grab. Although he seemed lean and frail, he was the strongest, and was proficient in Water, Earth, Fire, and Ice Espers; The Segundo Dean, a little portly, but still in great shape had a more shifty appearance. He wore half a mask that covered his face that had been half-burned. On the half that had not been burned were the Japanese symbols that spelled out "Benevolence." His strength and tactician-like appearance was fitting for him, being exceptionally skilled in Metal and Water; and The Tre Dean, a well-built man, powerful by just appearance alone, could crush your morale by just a glance. He had short black hair, and large rugged hands. His eyes spoke words of wisdom, and showed years of struggle. It was only natural that he, The Tre Dean, was one of the most powerful Earth Esper users in the entire Country. "You're to be sent to Allegretto on a mission," said the Primo Dean. But why me?" asked Zeke. "You have an exceptional skill in Earth Esper that most in this institution could not comprehend. Furthermore, if word of that got out to the public..." The Primo Dean paused for a moment. The Segundo Dean looked at The Primo Dean, closed his eyes, and slowly thought of the best way to put the words that The Primo Dean could not speak. "The rivaling leaders would kill you. If you don't already know, they are very set on getting the Black Sword. A lot of countries are... Which is why most of them have been sending out their best warriors." The Segundo finished as he looked towards The Tre Dean. The Tre Dean let his eyes peek back towards The Segundo Dean. "How long have you known Jayce?" The Tre Dean mumbled the words out. "What? That you have been training the boy in secrecy? Both Kato and I have known for a long time, Daygen." The Segundo Dean snarled the words. He turned to The Primo Dean, then back to The Tre Dean, shaking his head. He then turned back to Zeke. "Since you have been trained by Daygen, I can trust that you have the capability of handling yourself, should we send you out across the Plains. It's mostly nothing but natural resources, so your skills will be fully applicable." Said The Segundo Dean. "Daygen, I wish for you to teach him your Esper Ability..." The Primo Dean gave him a nod as he spoke the words. Daygen was surprised as The Primo Dean's request, then simply returned a nod. The Segundo Dean, scoffed, seeing as he was annoyed at the whole situation in the first place, but knew that it was to be done for the child's sake. "Good luck son... I wish for your safe return to our capitol." Said The Primo Dean with a kind smile on his face. He signaled The Tre Dean to take him, and with that, they were both on their way to the training grounds, where Zeke would begin his teachings under one of the mightiest Earth Esper users in the countries.
"...Once more!" screamed out Daygen as he knocked Zeke back on his knees. Zeke was panting rather roughly now, with a slight wince in his right eye. His breaths were weighted and staggered, and his body was beaten and bruised. "Come now! If you can't provide a challenge for a powerful opponent in a "Test of Perceptible Strength," then you can never expect to prosper in the way of Nature Control! Feel the energy of the world around you flow! If you are so admirable and loving of nature, then let it be your strength!" Within a moment of Daygen speaking those inspirational words, Zeke sprang up, flying through the air at The Tre Dean, and coming down with a strong fist into his forearms. Daygen blocked the technique, but nonetheless, he felt himself descend slightly into the ground. He thought to himself, "Well done." He then released his arms, sending Zeke back at some surrounding trees. "Well, I think that's enough training for today." The Tre Dean seemed to have a mocking tone in his voice. "Why do you always treat me like some kind of joke?!" Zeke growled. The Tre Dean placed his hand on top of Zeke's head, which instantly seemed to calm him down. The Tre Dean let out a soft, gentle, friendly laugh. "You're no joke son..." His smile seemed so genuine that Zeke couldn't help but smile. "You truly are a mighty disciple." The following day, Daygen and Zeke were to meet for their early morning training. Oddly, Daygen was running late. Typically, it wasn't a new thing for Zeke, but something was different this time. Normally, Daygen would provide some kind of note that he was arriving late, but this time, there was nothing to make Zeke aware. Zeke awaited for thirty minutes before he became suspicious. "He may be late... But he's never this late." Zeke spoke with an unnaturally worried tone in his voice. Zeke wasn't one to become unnaturally worried, but something inside Zeke caused him to get up. Zeke searched high and low through the training area, most of which was composed of trees, flowers and odd plants that didn't seem to grow anywhere else. Zeke ran back and forth around the wide-spanned area, searching for some sign. After having traveled the entire area of the training grounds, high and low, Zeke stood, head down, staring at the ground for the longest time. He rose his head and then closed his eyes as he reached his hands out in front of him. "Reveal to me Nature. Let me see what I long to find." Zeke whispered as he channeled his Natural Esper into the ground. Within his sense, he could feel the pulses, the tectonics of the ground guiding his energy in a certain location. It was further out than he had been. The energy steadily itself above the ground into a tree where it looked out over a long horizon. Within the distance, there was fire and chaos. Darkness overtook the trees and engulfed them in a plague. They corroded away like the flesh of a dead carcass. Zeke could feel a pressure, a presence that was sublime. It had a power similar to The Tre Dean. As the natural energy moved closer... That's just what it was.
A dead carcass of energy lay on the ground, engulfed in a disgusting, putrid, acidic substance. The Mushroom Forest ability had been used. There was far too much Natural Energy provided to the ability, as the poison was more putrid, more decaying than the normal ability was capable of performing. It was obvious that this was The Tre Dean. He was the only Earth Esper user capable of using this technique, at least before he had taught it to Zeke. Yet, even Zeke could not give it the Natural Energy necessary to decay its surroundings. The original ability was meant to disorient your opponent so that they could be finished off. The poison entered through a wound in the enemy and struck nerves individually, causing paralysis for a set amount of time. Though it wasn't long, it got the job done. Zeke was disgusted at the site and quickly released the ability. He started off in the direction of the decay. He knew he would not find his Sensei, but rather of shadow of his being. Within only moment, Zeke arrived at the site, where the poison had disappeared. The body that lay decayed there was a young soldier of the Capitol. He had a note in his hand, although the poison had slightly smeared the writings. The only words that Zeke could make out were, "Daygen.. Life.. Wanted." Zeke had no idea what to think of this, and was not sure if the note had just been misunderstood, or if he was being tested. Zeke let out a laugh of pain, gripping his chest. "Damn... And here I thought I had a chance."
Zeke proceeded up a mountain that lay just in front of his vision and stared at the side of the top, where he knew what was waiting for him. Up he jumped onto the top of the mountain, then stared forward at a ghastly sight of his former Sensei. He was burnt and his eyes gouged out. He wore a devilish smile that seemed to grin from ear to ear. He let out an evil chuckle, "You finally arrived." muttered the sad excuse for the former being that stood before him. Zeke remained silent as he stared in front of him. "No words, eh? Guess that saves me more time to kill you." In a quick burst of power The Tre Dean jumped forward at Zeke and sent a punch flying his way. Zeke had nearly no time to react, bringing his arms up to provide a defensive block, only to be sent soaring off the mountain top. The Tre Dean was not far behind and dove down at Zeke with his fist. Zeke let out a slight grunt and turned his body, avoiding the strike. The Tre Dean soared into the ground with unparalleled power causing the Earth to shatter violently. "Nice dodge Zeke, but you still need to-" In just a moment he was cut off by Zeke who was punching him directly in the mouth. The Tre Dean's eyes widened extensively as he flew back. His back made contact with the mountain, and he shuddered slightly spitting out blood. "You have become mad with a different power than nature... That's why you weren't prepared for me. You once told me something... And I have never forgotten it since we first started training. 'If you can't provide a challenge for a powerful opponent in a "Test of Perceptible Strength," then you can never expect to prosper in the way of Nature Control! Feel the energy of the world around you flow! If you are so admirable and loving of nature, then let it be your strength!' He screamed to The Tre Dean as he closed his eyes. "Nature... Give me your strength. Give me the strength to free another lover of your's!" Zeke dashed forward at The Tre Dean and pulled his arm back. "You have finally become worthy. Go on and use that power... And defeat the evil that plagues this world." The hit made contact with The Tre Dean, and his body slowly evaporated into a bright light. "Go on and use that power... And defeat the evil the plagues this world." Zeke let the words play in his mind. "I will." With that, Zeke began his quest to Allegretto.

"I say, that boy is a lot like you, eh, Daygen?" The Primo Dean had a big smile on his face as he turned to his subordinate. "Indeed he is." The Tre Dean was standing there beside The Primo Dean, wearing the same smile. "It's quite a shame that The Segundo Dean refuses to accept him." The Primo Dean looked over to The Tre Dean. "Fret not comrade... I feel that he has more faith than he portrays. That young man will reinstate a new order in this world. I just pray the dark forces don't alter his path." The Primo Dean had a tone of worry. "As long as he trusts in himself, and remembers who he is... We won't have a problem. Meanwhile, I recommend we keep an eye on him." The Tre Dean gave a stern look to the Primo Dean. "I'll continue teaching him in secrecy. I recommend you try to do the same at some point." The Primo nodded at The Tre Dean. "I will teach him the ways of the Natural Espers." With that, both Deans made a solid pact to prepare the child for a future battle.
