Not-so-Radiant Arin
It's existence is only there to help boost Exodia Decks, and seeming as how Exodia is never going to get banned due to "flavour", what do you think would happen if this got hit? Exodia Decks I think would lose a tad bit of consistency.

玄魔の王
I've also seen it used for Laval Quasar and FTK... ...Yeah, it exists solely to supplement degenerate decks.
Maeriberii Haan
Endymion.dek used this, somewhat. But yeah, other than that, this card only supported unhealthy decks.

Toffee.
While this card's concept looks good on paper, because it's a slow draw engine that rewards you for playing Spells-Lets stop right there.Decks that are 99% Spells basically break this card. And those types are decks are: Exodia, and other sacky FTKs.So despite the fact this card ended up being pidgeonholled, it's still pretty neat in general. 玄魔の王
Can't prophecies use this for extra draw power and a 2k wall if need be? Judgment Spellbooks could, but there's no reason to.
Rawkobo
IIRC, the only reason this card ever got hit on anything at all (YGOnline had it at 1 for a while) was because Veiler didn't exist, allowing the Exodia loops to just go ham. Now it's just kind of...meh. You don't think Veiler forces a scoop until you realize that this literally turns off the Exodia player's win con. S'why real men go the spell-heavy route. <

Rawkobo
implying veiler existing makes this bad is very bad ygo I never said Veiler existing made it bad. It made it way less consistent, which allowed them to remove it off of YGOnline's limited list. Veiler also wrecked the Gallis loop, but that didn't stop people from playing it a format or two ago. It's just more prevalent in a format where you can expect 2-3 Veiler maindecked. Y'know, in addition to Breakthrough Skill. This is a really good card to plus off of with acceleration, but if it's the key to success like it was with Exodia RML FTK, then it's way too high a risk when it can be flat-out stopped, which can force a scoop immediately. ihop
Veiler existing doesn't make Exodia decks any less ridiculous. Honestly though I have no problem with this card being around as long as it's not being used in some degenerate deck like Exodia, I wish Exodia would get banned but if Exodia ever gets really relevant and it runs this this may take a hit. Rawkobo
Once again, I never said that. What I implied is that RML is an on-board combo piece. Combo decks can tell you for a fact that in a lot of situations, it's hard to recover if your combo gets stopped at all. Exodia RML FTK used to be a deck until it was discovered that the moment RML leaves the table, the player has to scoop because it's too late for them to regain their potency. It's why all the people who wanted to troll the world with Exodia had to come up with ways to not make it a detectable combo, or simply involve hand interaction and nothing more. Consistency means too much to rely on a one-of monster that, if you get interrupted for any reason at all, means the end of your strategy.
