"2 Level 8 monsters.
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; this turn, that target's effects are negated, also it is unaffected by other card effects."

Mostly wanted to post about this because I got donked by it. I summoned Jeweled Red Dragon Archfiend to bait out activation of this card's effect to destroy it, but my opponent activated its effect to target my Red Dragon instead. I thought he was just bad, but then when I attacked into it he dropped Honest.

It's a really inventive card, and an excellent addition to the rather stale Rank 8 arsenal, filled with its Gimmick Puppets and Galaxy Dragons. You can use its effect virtually any time to target 1 monster, and make it temporarily immune to effects at the cost of its own effect being negated. As you demonstrated, it has its niche as something that can quickly remove a big push an opponent is trying to make.

It's amazing. I didn't think so originally when it was first discusssed, but I tested it and LOVE it. I first focused on the fact it can protect something, but then noticed it also can negate effects, which makes it more versatile as either a Lance or a Veiler, and with solid 2800 ATK, and LIGHT Attribute, Galaxy Decks love it.

I'm glad it's a pack card and not a promo. That way I can get 1 when SHSP comes out, instead of wondering when it'll come to TCG.

Also, it's a Warrior, meaning it can use Barian's Force into Ultimatrainer. If you were for some reason, so inclined to run Barian's Force in a Rank 8 Deck (which can also make Giantrainer).

Yet another reason why Honest should be banned.

The actual card lacks a definitive punch that Grinder and Heliopolis have. It being a Quick effect makes it incredibly super useful, though.

Pretty sure this is more of a shield than a punch, tho'. And it's not just any shield, it's an excellent shield. And given this is in the Extra, more options is always a nice idea.
This is absolutely wonderful for pushing people off cliffs, especially when they've got not much on the field and hand and try to believe in the heart of the cards. Reducing any topdeck to toilet paper like a boss. Hands down it's one of the hardest monsters to take down mid/endgame, and though it is true it might not be the best option in the first turns, it gets REALLY tough later on.
