heraldry_lord
Number 39: Utopia Roots [Rank 1/LIGHT/Warrior/Xyz/Effect/ATK 500/DEF 100] 2 Level 1 monsters When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack, and if you do and that monster is an Xyz Monster, this card gains 500 ATK for each Rank it has.
This was posted by a member of the Organization on Pojo in the Legacy of the Valiant thread. For those of you who watch the anime, this guy being a Rank down from Utopia and gaining ATK per Rank actually makes perfect sense, and for those in general, it's a neat Rank 1. Keep in mind, it's not completely confirmed.
Maeriberii Haan
Hmm, maybe you should make the thread for Numeron Fall and the other pseudo rank-up spell. Anyway, this is the second best rank 1 so far, just below Shyneet and a bit better than Lionheart due to being 2 material. Still, i do think the effect is bland. It's another Utopia rehash, which is lame.
Aerion Brightflame
It's meh. But given the rank it's in, it makes it decent enough in some circumstances.
Lonk
It's believable. In order to face an enemy that can rank-up to the highest possible level, the only way to defeat that enemy is to rank-down to the lowest possible level (or Ranks, in this case). Because fornicate logic.
Faytl
Well, if this is real, I can see the way the duel in the anime is going to turn out. It's gimmicky, but it's pretty nice against Xyz-oriented decks, especially those that use the higher ranks.
Azuh
It actually gives weanie decks some push to defeat higher level decks. I just wish it was Rank
EmpoleMew
So it's teenage Utopia?
Azuh
So it's teenage Utopia? I wonder if anyone understands him? That its not just a phase...
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Why is it so weak for looking so big and badass? Maybe it's like the size of a chihuahua?
Faytl
It really just looks a lot like an alternate-art regular Utopia, actually. Still, pretty good alternate art.
EmpoleMew
You know, after looking at it a second time, it kinda looks like he's wearing Boba Fett's helmet with Laharl's antennae stuck on them.
Wildflame
Oh look, a new Utopia form that I actually kinda like. I don't think it will be used in more than 1 or 2 duels though.
Faytl
Seems that Yuma's going to Shining Draw the card that makes this on his own. Fitting that this form is technically a DOWNGRADE of Utopia, then :P
