"But why?!" I hear you bellow at me at maximum volume, destroying what little remains of my eardrums. Simply put, I'm a sucker for Dragunities. They got me far through Tag Force 5 and I like the way they make Stardust by using another synchro.

 

I like Dragunities.

A lot.

When this card is Synchro Summoned: Target 1 Dragon-type Monster in your Graveyard and equip it to this card as an Equip Spell card. This card gains 500 ATK for each Dragon-type Monster equipped to it. Once per duel: You can target 1 "Dragunity" Monster in your deck and equip it to this card. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Monster that was equipped to it.

So, it is, essentially, a Dragunity Knight Vagina that can also grab junk from the deck and get it on-field by it being used as Synchro Material

I'm fine with it grabbing equips like brandistock or w/e for more combo-ccentricuty, but I don't like how it becomes anither body from deck-field that includes big beaters just for... Doing what the deck is supposed to do anyways. Dragunity have enough OTK potential as-is, Toyo.

So, if I were you, I'd nix that whole SS-ing when it's used as synch material (or if it dies, for that matter).
The whole double-Phalanx is good enough as-is. We don't need to be dropping Leyvatens out of thin air.
I'd also reduce the boost to 400 per equip, so that it's not a drop-down 2900 beater.

It's a great card because it can make Trident Dragion so easily, which in turn creates more OTK possibilities. This is the kind of rigidity that Vajrayana fails to uphold simply because it's used for nothing more than a combo piece to get a Level 8 out (unless you have an Aklys in your Graveyard, then it can be used for a 3800 push). Dropping Leyvaten out of thin air is nice and all, but that's only a 2600 beater in essence. Why would I take that over a potential (possibly theoretical) Gachi or the chance to make Trident Dragion, which has more OTK potential than what Leyvaten has?

When you read a "once per duel" clause, you know something bad is coming, and this card is no exception.

As Commander and Arin already pointed out, this card can put 2 Phalanx on the field (for a Gachi or Daigusto Phoenix), Leyvaten and even Dragion, giving dragunities even more OTK potential.

Altough I don't know what kind of support Dragunities want, I don't think this what they are looking for or need the most.

 

The artwork is great though, and actually resembles a Dragunity Arma. But the flavor is a bit off because all Armas so far are Effect Monsters, and I don't don't know if its name is referencing a mythological weapon.
