Mugs

Ok I sometimes feel like I have too many of them and that they're piling up. I mostly use them to drink tea or hot chocolate/milk (no coffee for me, I don't like it). However they're often the default presents when people don't know what to buy for birthdays and such and sometimes you get them for free. So my cupboards are always full of them, both in my own flat and family's house.^^

So how do you feel about mugs?

Do you have many of them or a favourite that you use the most? Any colours or motives you prefer?

Also what kinds of hot beverages do you like drinking?

I like mugs with motivational quotes such as "swag" or "yolo".

???

I have a mug with a hedgehog on it that I use all the time, seeing as a drink a lot of herbal teas and just tea in general. I also sometimes drink cold drinks out of it when I feel like it.

I have this cool set of three mugs my family uses for hot chocolate, they fit one on top of the other and look like a three-tiered snowman.

There's one mug I really should get around to buying:

That seems pretty cool (both the snowman mugs and the one you posted).

I noticed that I got a bunch of mine at Christmas markets. We have this system here where you pay a deposit sum when you order a drink. Most people will take the first one home, but sometimes you're just like 'nah forget it, too many people. I'll bring one for my sibling/parent/dog/everybody'. And so they end up filling your cupboard.=o

I usually like winter-themed mugs though so I take one with me every year.

Same. Most cold drinks don't taste any worse though.;/

I have this mug that can almost contain close to a liter of liquid. I mostly use it for tea. And holy shit, it's going to be winter soon, meaning I'll be drinking a lot of tea. At that time of the year, it's not unusual for me to drink between 2-4 mugs of tea a day.

Tea is good for you. What kinds do you drink?

I try to stack up on green tea, preferably matcha, but the latter is pretty expensive.=(

But yeah. Get your mugs out for winter!=D
