The only thing I can wonder is if this would've been played off as an attack.
Nathanael D. Striker
If America really wanted to blame the USSR, the would have. I assume they didn't want the Soviets to find out about their mishap.
Enrise
I'm waiting for the day where Nuclear Warfare will become obsolete. Because some countries love war and hate other countries, so I expect this to happen.

bury the year
Because some countries love war and hate other countries, so I expect this to happen.Methinks you haven't heard of "mutually assured destruction." As long as multiple countries have both first- and second-strike capabilities, nuking anyone is irrational at best.
Enrise
Methinks you haven't heard of "mutually assured destruction." As long as multiple countries have both first- and second-strike capabilities, nuking anyone is irrational at best. I have heard of it. But I never said my idea was absolutely the case. But then again, I didn't say more than that, so it is my fault. But I predict some whacko nut job will say that nuclear warfare is needed, even if it will level continents and then some, and will find some reasoning behind it, not matter how irrational. And at least one person will believe them.
