2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card to target 1face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes 0, and if it does, its effects are negated. When this card you control is destroyedby your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your GraveyardDraw 1 card.
We haven't heard from this guy in a while. Granted, 2k isn't strong enough to consider itself worthy of running stuff next to Utopia, Papilloperative, Masquerade, Maestroke, or any of that, but it does replace itself when it dies. And that extra card that you draw could be the chance between being able to OTK next turn and not being able to. It's a perfectly balanced card, needing to Detach 2 to pull it off so you can't use its effect again, and it isn't a horribly degenerately imbalanced OTK card.

Discuss.

The LIGHT requirement is the only thing holding it back, as only certain Decks can use it, such as Photons, Hunders, Constellars, etc, and they DO run it. But compared to most other generic Rank 4s, it's a little too specialized to be a major card. It's a VERY nice card, though, since the ATK drop and negation is permanent, and the draw when this card is destroyed is a beautiful bonus.

... Any deck that can make reliably make this should run this. And by "reliably", I mean has more than a ghost of a chance of 2 Level 4 LIGHT on the field. It can run over basically anything.

This, Omega, Diawolf, Corn, Abyss Dweller, Lavalval Chain, and Maestroke are the top 7 for anything that can make them, in no particular order.

This because it runs over anything and floats, which makes it amazing even as a standalone 2K beater.

Omega is obvious.

Diawolf covers the few things this card hs trouble covering, mainly annoying ass backrow.

Corn because it removes annoying shit like Angineer and makes funny pushes. Plus, lols at Rogue shit.

Abyss Dweller is just the nuts when you actually make it, because it can shut strategies 110% down.

Lavalval Chain is a borderline broken setup card that almost any deck can utilize. Not always, but very often.

Maestroke's a chump blocker/target killer, but I find it less than completely needed when Omega is a card. Still has niche uses over Omega though, so make the space and you should run it. Unless you can run Kagutsuchi instead, then space for this guy goes pfft.

For 3-Mat, Ouroboros, Masquerade, and then Thunder Spark Dragon are best.

Versatility on a 2750 beater.

Finish OTKing/Laugh at Geargia/More expensive Abyss Dweller that doesn't die as easily cause 2700.

Thunder Spark Dragon is Dark Fucking Hole. Need I explain?

As for Paladynamo, I'd run 7 of it if I could, but I generally have space for only 1. It's one of the best R4s, period.

I'd run this over freaking Utopia if I could. Utopia is supremely mediocre. This card, on the other hand, is great: (basically) +1 monster removal on a floating body. The only questionable thing about it is the ATK, but who gives a damn when you can climb your opponent's big boss monster and then capitalize off of this card's defeat? It's really really solid, not broken in the least (given the LIGHT mats that is).

If the ATK were much higher it would be really cheap. 2000 seems fair, 2200 would be pushing it a little, 2400 would be dumb. See how much it escalates for just a few points?

What is wrong with Utopia?
Although I agree, you really see him in Rank-Up decks.

I wonder why....then counts Utopia Xyz and Support Cards. Runs out of fingers.

Point taken!

He is a good card, and easy to pull out using things like Shining Angel and Nova Summoner. But, no one really plays those.

Buijins could utilize this if necessary too.

It helps that Utopia's Rank-Ups are actually pretty good. Utopia is just underwhelming on its own and not too difficult to play around.

It's probably a good thing Paladynamo isn't generic. It'd be ridiculous, as an out practically to anything.

Utopia is mostly run in Warrior or Rank-Up Magic Decks. Or people with very few Extra Deck options.

If I have few Extra Deck options, I'd sooner run duplicates of cards I actually need as compared to Utopia, who really might as well not have an effect.

Yeah, I keep one in my War God Extra.

Oh, I more meant that they have few options because they don't have that many good Xyz, and Utopia came in like...3 different Starter Decks now. It's a relatively easy card to get ahold of.

I'd sooner run cards that are a stretch to use but actually pay off if you can then a pathetic beater who can't even protect himself. If all you care about is the ATK, Pearl at least gets over Ophion.

Utopia is a foundation. Not really as much of a stand-alone like most of today's meta. I like a deck/card "branch" that works on distributing powers instead of overpowering the opponent, if you know what I mean. Some decks just shoot for one monster, and swarm with it. Rank-Ups have lots of variety, and the deck used to summon them can vary in monsters. I like my ZW deck. XD

Wait, you are bagging on Utopia despite your sig?
