If you think about it, a lot of Warrior monsters have self-Summoning effects and/or effects that Summon other monsters. So more or less this is just an obscure Reborn. Plus, it's nice that it can also serve as a means to set up combos(recover Dododo Gasser to be used with Dododo Witch, or other silly moves like that)
Overall it's a pretty neat card.

Gets back BLS, and anything that does that is a-okay in my books. I also once played a vicious Bubblebeat that abused the hell out of this.

 

Seriously though, it's a neutral advantage card that can set up bigger combos. Shame it just isn't worth the space most of the time.

I'm surprised you didn't mention your avatar, Mr.Spell Striker.
Since, you know, use This to recover Striker, and immediately Banish it to Summon yourself... Heh...

I've never liked cards like this because I want my Graveyard recursion to be more powerful. I'd rather run a water deck to use Salvage then run this. Switchhitter changed that.
