Baragan
2 Level 10 monster If this cards Summon would be negated: Negate the card which negates the Summon and discard 1 random card from their hand. During your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material: Both player's Life Points become 1000. While this card is on the field: The ATK of all monsters on the field and all monster that both player Summon become 0, except this card.
Sora1499
Pls no. I can see it now: a dumb, degenerate FTK deck being born from this thing's ungodly womb. But anyways: let us dissect the effect: *First part is fine. Anti-Solemn and Rai-Oh is totally ok with me on a Rank 10. Even the discard is reasonable. *No. No no no. No please NO. The problem with this is that you can drop it (and there are PLENTY of cards that can drop rank 10s with great ease), then make your opponent's life 1000, and then proceed to hit them with a dumb burn card like Himotama, Des Koala, Secret Barrel, Ookazi, etc., and unjustly end the game right then and there. This thing is practically BEGGING for an FTK. Don't you see how awful this is? How would you feel if your opponent turn 1 made your life 1000 without you being able to do anything to stop them, then hit you with a burn card and ended the game? You didn't even get to play! That's just not fair. *This last effect is also pretty bad: it makes games go sooooo much more slowly than they ought to. You both end up just sitting there doing nothing until either your opponent gives up of they draw an out to it. Fixes: *Make this thing's ATK the same as with Wicked Avatar OR give it a set ATK value between 3000 and 4000. *Remove the burn entirely.
Trebuchet MS
Hey, do you remember Wiraqocha Rasca's anime effect? That's what this card feels like. No, it's still not a good idea.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
^this^ Or more specifically, the last effect (Anime lore is posted below in the event people don't remember/know it). While this card is face-up on the field, "Earthbound Immortal" monsters cannot be Summoned. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card during the End Phase and the following effects are negated: ● This card can attack your opponent directly. ● This card is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards. ● Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. ● Once per turn, by skipping the Battle Phase, reduce your opponent's Life Points to 1. Like The Laughing Man already mentioned, it essentially promotes FTKs (especially since Rank 10s are easy to drop nowadays [Galaxy Queen Light, REDMD to name a few]; with a simple Xyz Material as a cost for something this powerful. In relation to this card's effect being almost identical to Rasca's 4th anime effect; essentially any decent burn effect will make it game afterwards (or one of the cards mentioned; though no one uses those in a serious Deck but you get the point). Anti-Rai-Oh, Warning/Judgment, etc + hand discard is good (and the only thing that's balanced enough on this card) For last effect, essentially a more restricting version of Avatar (you keep other monsters at 0; this card is always 100 points stronger, which will make games go slower than they need to be) Some fixes: - Take out the "WR" effect (or make the amount something higher, like 3000 [i.e. Life Equalizer]) and make it require 2 Xyz Materials to activate. [The way you have it now, that effect makes the card broken as is; regardless of the other effects] - Make it require 3/4 Xyz Materials (as mentioned earlier, a lot of cards make Ranks 10 quickly; you do not want to give those cards anything they can easily abuse for game). Or put a requirement on the Materials themselves. - Higher ATK/DEF (not saying that it has to be something in the 3000-4000 range, but something higher than what it has now) If there weren't cards that made dropping Rank 10s that easily, then maybe this card's Xyz Materials might have counterbalanced its effects to some extent, but either way; the 2nd effect is the part that pushes it into the realm of broken cards. Sora1499
I wouldn't make this thing require more mats, that'd just make it downright impossible to summon, leaving it on the solemn shelf of useless Xyz. The best decision, IMO, is to give it like 3k ATK then have all your opponents monsters lose like 1k ATK (or more, you can probably go up to 2k without problems). Baragan
Ok, now I realized how awful unfair the second part of the effect is, but maybe i could edit : "you cannot activate trap cards while this card is on the field."
