~British Soul~
Warrior/Ritual/Effect You can Ritual Summon this card with "Quantum Dragon Ritual". You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" from your hand or Deck. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Draw 1 card. It's certainly better than the anime version. Discuss
Premier Alexander Romanov
Well, unlike it's predecessor, it can actually do something once it's on the field other than be used to get out GEPD.But then again, why wouldn't you just Tribute it instead of letting it go kill something? Aerion Brightflame
It's a great buff, and it's still not worth running ever. Not unless the ritual spell gets a buff to make it useful, and even then. The deck hates it's consitency as it stands, it doesn't want to make it worse. 玄魔の王
Thank you, Paladin, for being marginally more useful. Still not thinking you're worth it, but may try a Manju-Galaxy build now for fun.
Toffee.
...They actually printed this damn thing? While I appreciate the fact it's been quite a while since any Ritual monsters were made, Photons, honestly, do not need a card like this.Concept wise, yes, it's cool for the sake of more counterparts and allusions to others similar Level 8 3K boss monsters, but still, it's rather silly for them to print this.Either way, it's an amusing pack addition. VictorSempra
I almost wish they had printed the Red-Eyes one, cause then at least I could make some weird RitualPaladin.dek. Otherwise, I've never seen a whole lot of use in these Ritual monsters, because there's far easier ways to get out what you need. I don't know a lot about Photons, but even I'll say this seems detrimental. Unless the RItual Card did some to nudge the deck along. Otherwise, a re-print of "White Dragon RItual" is just a deck-filler and unnecessary, thus making this card unnecessary.

Lonk
Well, look at it this way: It may be meh for being a Ritual, but it is still a good Photon monster. Granted, it belongs in its own deck.
evilfusion
Interesting. Yay for that last effect. Photon Lizard likes this card. As does Photon Trident. However, 1900 ATK requires some dedication to preserving it if you're angling for the draw, and the last thing Photons need is more potential dead draws and inconsistent combos. Adding a Ritual Spell and a Ritual Monster is horrible for consistency unless you're using some sort of Orbital 7/Photon Lizard build. I rather run Photon Crushers and go for Galaxion if I want that first effect.
goddamnit names are a pain
Play Double Attack with Photon Trident to dish out Piercing, destroy S/T, and draw cards in rapid fury. Photon boost might also work, but meh. My Photon-Galaxy WIP might pay off. XD
Jack of the Lantern
It may not be worth it in it's archetype, but it is a good addition to the casual pile. Photon Trident. Honest. Assault Armor. It's searchable, has a decent effect, and it's Level is cheap enough. Advanced Ritual Art can ditch a Level 4 vanilla and have you do other things. evilfusion
It's still a card I'd want, if only because the baby Galaxy-Eyes is cute. ...we totally need a baby Galaxy-Eyes monster (think Red-Eyes Chick).
Azuh
http://ygorganization.com/ocg-uncofirmed-lval-news/#more-2295 Koushiryuu Kourin (Quantum Dragon Ritual)[Ritual Spell Card] This card is used to Ritual Summon “Paladin of Photon Dragon”. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 4. During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; banish monsters from your Graveyard whose total Levels equal 4, then Special Summon 1 “Paladin of Photon Dragon” from your Hand (this Special Summon is treated as a Ritual Summon). Canopy Star - Eon Sphere
So... It's reusable. Well, not quite what I was hoping for, but I could try it out. Seems that you could quite easily search Paladin with Lizard, Quantum Ritual with Manju, and then proceed to get out 2 Galaxy-Eyes or 2 draws off of monster destruction. Seems neat but the standard Photon/Galaxy formula is better I'm afraid. I'll give it a try once it's fixed on YGOPro.
玄魔の王
Not a bad trick for a Ritual Spell, since the secnd use is bascally free.
Aerion Brightflame
Huh... the ritual effect isn't terrible. It's just... from the hand means it's really really bad. If it were from the deck, it would be amazing. It's unfortunate sadly.
Toffee.
Rather amusing how if your hand has 2 Paladins and 1 Ritual card, and 2nd Paladin won't be a dead draw due to the fact you could basically use the same Ritual card twice. 玄魔の王
But what if the pitched Spell was Quantum Dragon Ritual? Then you canw 1) I highly doubt you're running only one copy. 2) then you just mill something else, or use the stack effect. It's not hard to work out an alternative. Aerion Brightflame
Now see if the Ritual's second effect fetched from the deck, then that Monk idea would actually be viable as a deck idea. But it's not, so it's really not. Sadly.
