Chaos1131 Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 Okay, so I always see people posting theoretical ban lists on sites like this or Pojo or tcgplayer and every time without fail the players just flame the OP about how bad the list is. Never do I see actual thought or creativity going on. When the actual list for Sept 1st 2013 came out you all had to figure out how to change your deck regardless of what list said. You had to figure it out, you couldn't just yell and ignore the list. So I'm posing a question to the yugioh community. I'm going to post a list for January 1st 2014 and I want you to tell me how you would change your deck. I want you to post a deck list for a competitive deck under the following format. The reason I'm doing this is to prove that players can make decks under whatever format Konami comes up with so that next time rather than whine and complain about the list you can have the confidence to know that all is not lost and you can fix your deck. How would you build dragon rulers? Spellbooks? Fire fists? Mermails? Glad beasts? Or would this list inspire you to create something totally new or bring back a long forgotten deck? Maeriberii Haan Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 To ensure more creativity, I think you should bring some non-archetype forbidden cards(that's not that broken) as limited. With this list, I think I'll run my stun Madolche with little to no changes, other than removing more specific counter cards and more general meta counter cards. While I still am down to 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device, that'd mean space to main Dimensional Prison. Lack of Big Eye also isn't too big an issue. Macro Deck would be particularly annoyed at Heavy Storm returning without Dimensional Fissure or Macro Cosmos nudging a bit. Maybe Banisher of the Radiance + Safe Zone... All there durp cards has been hit so there is no reason to kill off competitive decks at this moment. Your crazy with semi limiting Chaos Sorcerer though since we already have BLS. And hell no on DMOC. I'll limit Laggia and Dolka by 2. And hit Draccosack. I would not even touch the Dragon Rulers Babies, there fine banned. Not Grand mole either. Stratos is WAY to good, but HERO decks don't need him to be awesome. Card Destruction can burn in hell. Resoning is almost just as derpy as six sense, ill limit it. Wan't me to go on?
