Mirage Knight

Here;s an interesting card that never, ever saw play. It's summoning condition takes a TREMENDOUS amount of work, and not terribly worth it IMO. Aside from that, it's a one-turn steamroll, which I wouldn't say would be terribly bad, but there's not too many ways to fetch it after it's banished.

It's called Utopia Ray Victory nowadays.

Though to be fair, this Mirage Knight route is more fun to experiment with when it comes to the cards needed for it.

It shouldn't be a nomi.

 

Play Blue-Flame Swordsman and Catapult Zone in the Deck for the fun of it.

Its design begs it to be a Nomi. It's just a Nomi that has a ridiculous Summoning Condition. It pretty much will always deal 2800 damage when it battles, including if something attacks it, and very few cards can get around the tiny loophole of "Original ATK", because unless you pumped something by 2800+ ATK, it's still going to die.

 

It was printed back in DCR, so it was extremely powerful when released, if you could Summon it...which you weren't going to often. It's better to be unspammable. But at the same time, I kind of wish Dark Flare Knight was a Main Deck card, and Mirage Knight was an Extra Deck card, or both were Extra Deck cards. I never really liked Main Deck cards that in some way relied on using an Extra Deck card, like the /Assault Modes.
